I think tax breaks are fine if they are backed up by bonds and surety notes.
Worked on more than one project where the developer pulled out and locations never saw the benefit of the promises.
🇺🇸 Tucker Carlson CONFRONTS Kevin O’Leary Over Taxpayer Subsidies for Billion-Dollar Data Centers: “Why Am I, as a Taxpayer, Forced to Pay for Your Business?”
Tucker Carlson: “Your tenants are some of the richest companies in the world. Why should taxpayers be required to subsidize this? If it’s such a good business, why are you asking taxpayers to help pay for it without giving them equity in the company?”
Kevin O’Leary: “I have to go raise $15 billion. That’s what it takes to build the first 1.5 gigawatts. Every state is competing for that investment. You’re going to create jobs, pay taxes, and build communities. What can you give me to incentivize me versus the state right beside you?”
Tucker: “I run a couple of businesses, and we’re not getting any tax breaks. I think they’re every bit as virtuous as data centers. I’m not availing myself of that, and I wouldn’t take it anyway.
It’s not the job of taxpayers to subsidize a private business.”
O’Leary: “Welcome to America, buddy. This is how it’s gone on for 200 years.”

While we disagree with the environmental left’s rhetoric, there’s one thing we should agree on: they have a right to say it.
Government has no prevailing interest in leveraging state-led investigations to put a thumb on the scale of a fight over policy or politics.
The freedom of speech and of peaceful assembly are sacrosanct. And actions by government that, however well-meaning, chill free speech are antithetical to those unalienable rights.
The principled approach to pushing back against speech with which we disagree is more speech, not less.

Very happy to have @BULLBITCOIN_ sponsoring the Bitcoin Veterans Summit this year in Nashville!
@BitcoinVeterans is one of my favorite orgs in this space.
Learning about Bitcoin as a veteran means realizing our patriotism was weaponized against us for the interests of central banks and corrupt bureaucrats.
We are now determined to DEFUND THE FOREVER WARS.
See you at @bitcoinpark_ on Nov 9th and 10th.
We’re proud to have @BULLBITCOIN_ as a sponsor of the 2026 Bitcoin Veterans Summit.

Orange-pilling veterans is a critical mission for us. Often times, what is sold as a struggle for the security of the nation ends up being a play by fiaters to perpetuate a financial ponzi.
Also : we love @bitcoinpark_
Join @Andrew_J_Howard from BULL if you can make it

All my models are now adding a weird caveat to the term “Luddite”.
I wonder if it is just me.
If anyone has 5 min, use the term without defining it in a question.

If you're going to the @BitcoinVeterans Summit this November (link below).
I'm planning two unofficial events.
1. Prayer breakfast at @bitcoinpark_. Be there before the doors open and join me in prayer. We'll honor God and thank Christ to ask the Spirit to move during the event.
2. @F3Nation @F3Nashville workout. 0530 Monday Nov 9 at the Westeros AO. Come workout, only a willing mind and able body required. Even if you just walk while everyone else does the beatdown, we welcome you.

This makes me think that NVDA is more grounded in the reality of this moment in AI than anyone else in the industry.
That isn’t news. Just has to be said that there are some clear indications of where the market is going, and it doesn’t seem to be where the money is being spent right now.
Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale.
He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt.
Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world.
At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.
