Without a doubt, the most competent candidate on the ballot for the next election in Lagos is Dr Obafemi Hamzat. He holds a PhD in Engineering from Cranfield University, one of the best research Universities in the UK 🇬🇧.
His experience in the public sector is also unmatched by other candidates.
I look forward to his manifesto tagged ‘The Lagos Promise’ / ‘Ileri Eko’ 💙.

Lagos state is always ready!!! A state like a country !
Rather than treating food security as a matter of farming alone, the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems is set to explore diverse ideas from policymakers, agri-business leaders, financiers, innovators, and operators across the value chain, including prominent retail chains, such as Chowdeck, Easy Shop Easy Cook, and Amoke Oge, on how food production, processing, storage, logistics, fintech, and market access must work together.
A systems approach is central to broadening hygienic food production and safety in Lagos. By cutting post-harvest losses through modern storage and cold-chain technology, setting quality control and traceability standards, organising markets, and aligning private investment with public policy, the event aims to provide fresh insights into moving food from farm to consumer more efficiently and safely.
“Nexus 2026” will shape dialogue on food security and the strategic plan adopted by the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration to prevent disruption in the food supply chain.
Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Abisola Olusanya, is organising this event with the theme: “Food Security is Not an Agricultural Problem: Connecting the Dots”.
The conversation is about to change… on Thursday, November 12, 2026.

Nigerians are starting to agree that the impact of the reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be positive on the long term. Majority of voters are saying they will #ReElectPresidentTinubu. Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi will shed tears again in 2027.

I represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Africa International Defence Exhibition (AFRIDEX), where we unveiled ARRIDEX’s first 3D-printed uncrewed surface vessel.
This achievement shows the growing potential of Nigerian ingenuity in advanced technology and maritime innovation. It also shows usthe importance of creating an environment where local talent can thrive and develop solutions for our security and economic needs.
In Lagos, we are fully committed to supporting pioneer technology and ensuring Lagos remains the launchpad for solutions that move our entire continent forward.

You're a very irresponsible man. This dude filmed himself destroying the president's campaign posters, posted it and tagged the DSS by himself.
Is that your definition of civility and weakness or you're planning to run a lawless government?
A good friend even advised him but the coconut head you replaced their God-given head with felt it was too strong to break
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW.
The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable.
President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence.
Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion.
We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK.
I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice.
We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights.
A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO
Hausa HATES you.
Yoruba HATES you.
Benin HATES you.
Europe HATES you.
Asia HATES you.
South Africa HATES you.
Ghana HATES you.
America HATES you.
Infact EVERY tribe, religion, country HATES you.
YET you think OTHERS are the problem and not you.
Call yourself to a meeting, evaluate your character, reflect on your attitude and take a critical look at what is wrong then you will know that YOU are the problem amd not THEM.
Everybody CANNOT like you BUT everyone shouldn't HATE you.
In all you do make sure you appreciate that you will always remain a VISITOR in a other man's land.
Respect your hosts at all times

A city’s development is not just about building new roads and bridges; it is also about preserving the stories that make each place unique.
The 25-metre steel monument being installed at the Opebi–Odo-Iya Alaro Bridge is a reminder of this. Designed around four hands weaving cane, the structure pays tribute to the Cane Village that once stood there and was known for its cane market.
As Lagos continues to grow and transform, it is encouraging to see our history and local heritage finding a place in the city’s development. Beyond improving connectivity, this landmark will preserve a part of our story while adding beauty to the corridor.
What better way to build the future than to carry a piece of our past along with us?

“I will be unveiling my manifesto in four days, titled The Lagos Promise. It will contain seven pillars, 31 chapters and 100 pledges. I am the first politician in Africa to make pledges in my manifesto. I have read a lot of manifestos. 87 of these pledges are things you can hold me accountable for directly. If I do them, you can see it. If I haven't done them, you can tell me I haven't. The remaining 13 will be subject to the courts and Federal Government approval.”
