Was just checking out a review (by @DKwan) of the Flexway Wave (👀) and Ride was in it 😍 The board looks pretty sick tbh. I’ve barely touched my longboards since getting the Mini X so probs best for me to stick with shorter boards like the Wave youtu.be/trpVdBysU4E

Tip: you can make the persistent Ride notification (required for reconnecting) less annoying by tweaking the settings so the notification gets added to the silent section and collapsed by default :)

Oh wow the whole time it was a feature in the Boosted app I missed lol you have to long-press on the light icon to get the options. I had no idea. Assume it’s the same for Beams with more options?

Turns out you can control the brightness of the Rev’s light 👀👀👀 also didn’t realise that Beams use the same Bluetooth characteristics as the Rev’s lights which means Ride for Android already supports Beams if I’m not mistaken :)

Hooray! Ride tracking update is now showing for alpha testers. Please let me know how you get on with it!

On top of this, I’ve created a Quick Tile for you to quickly enable background connections without launching the app 😍 check out the video to see it in action. This is turning out so well 😍😍😍

Don't take the actual design too seriously, obvs I'm still learning Android UI, but thought I would share some progress on Ride for Android! Getting there :) hopefully not much longer and I can let you play with an alpha version.

I know this _looks_ like a small thing but honestly it’s been a lot of work behind the scenes to get this far. I’ve learnt so much about Android as a platform already though. Really enjoying making Ride for Android! More updates to follow in the coming days and weeks :)
