Wow, another spanner in the works today but we are still going ahead with this weekend’s events at the @DevilsArse - if you have booked tickets for this weekend, please look out for an email from See Tickets tomorrow with important updates (it may go into your Junk Folder) 💜

None of this, thanks.
If your car is too big to fit into a standard parking space then you shouldn't have that car. Don't take up the limited pavement space pedestrians get.
How is someone with a stroller, or a wheelchair, or a mobility scooter, supposed to navigate this?

Very important that this is visible on social media:
For every 1 person objecting to even temporary active travel measures, more than 6 support.
Make sure the vast majority aren’t drowned out by the angry minority. Sign their petition. Get others to sign it. 👇
New data from YouGov released by us today shows the public is overwhelmingly in favour of measures to encourage walking and cycling with 6.5 people supporting changes to their local streets for every 1 person against.

Just out of interest, for those many people living on rat-runs, can you remember when you were consulted about whether or not you wanted through-traffic using your neighbourhood as short-cut race track? 🤔

Had a similar experience with a @LandRover @RangeRover_OC last year. Young kids in the back, very happy families. I spotted the car parked up at a pub later and them in the beer garden having lunch. Confronted them and embarrased them into leaving half way through their meal.

“The most common cause of death for children aged 5-14 years is being hit by a car.”
Why are people not absolutely up in arms about this? This is an appalling statistic. How can we improve this? Manadatory 20mph limit in our built up areas for one.
