Coordinators under Rhule:
'23: Satterfield, White
'24: Holgorsen/Thomas, White
'25: Holgorsen/Thomas, Butler
'26: Interim, Aurich
That's six coordinators in less than four seasons.
He's fired three coordinators.
It starts at the top.

Tonight should be the end of the Matt Rhule era in Nebraska
24-23 Overall
12-21 vs. Big Ten
0-10 vs. Ranked Teams
15 one-score losses
Don’t care how bad Riley & Frost were, Nebraska should NEVER accept this poor standard
Nebraska falls apart at halftime… During the losing streak:
Opponents have 21 total drives & scored on 11 of those drives. They’ve scored 65 points and have 1 turnover.
Nebraska has 22 total drives & scored on 4 of those drives. They’ve scored 23 points and have 8 turnovers.
Matt Rhule is on a 4 game losing streak.
He is 2-11 in November.
He is 24-23 at Nebraska.
He is 12-21 in Big Ten games.
He can’t finish off games.
He can’t win close games.
He has lost 21 straight ranked games.
He just signed the worst recruiting class ever.
Fire Matt Rhule.
Curt Cignetti has FOUR wins against Power 4 opponents with a winning record *this season*
Matt Rhule has SIX wins against Power 4 opponents that finished with a winning record *through his 46 game Nebraska tenure*

That is now 3 scoring drives in 19 total drives over the last three games played in the second half.
With live win probabilities of 94.7%, 88.2% and 85.4% - you would have a 0.0913% chance of losing all three.
That’s what Matt Rhule did. He falls to 24-22 overall at Nebraska. 12-20 in the Big Ten. He has a career head coaching record of 82-95. How is that acceptable to employ?
For comparison...
Dan Lanning vs. Matt Rhule:
5 total drives
4 scoring drives
1 turnover
Scored 17 points in comeback win
Curt Cignetti vs. Matt Rhule:
7 total drives
3 scoring drives
0 turnovers
Scored 17 points in comeback win
Jedd Fisch vs. Matt Rhule:
5 total drives
1 scoring drive (+ a Pick Six)
0 turnovers
Scored 14 points in comeback win
That’s now 8 scoring drives (plus a Pick Six) in 17 total drives by the opposition in the second half. That’s 48 points allowed and the Blackshirts have forced one turnover.
When the coaches meet at halftime and adjustments get made, Nebraska gets out coached.
Nebraska has led at halftime of EVERY game this year, so clearly they put together a good gameplan during the week. Why does that all fall apart during the game?

Somewhere amongst the 86,097 people in attendance tonight, a young fan went to his first Nebraska game. His parents work 8-5 and saved up the money to buy the tickets, buy the special black Husker clothing, put gas in the car and drive to Lincoln. They paid good money to scream and holler and yell to support their beloved team—all in the pursuit of making a memory with their child.
While driving to the game, they sat in horrible traffic and construction all over Lincoln. While waiting to get to their seat, they stood in the concourse of Memorial Stadium attempting to pile through a gate section for 20 minutes. This all within a mass of fans that seemingly did not move.
Mid-game, when they wanted to use the restroom, they waited in line for another 20 minutes to piss in a running water trough that’s now auctioning for $3500 to help rebuild the stadium.
Indeed, they’re paying hard-earned and finite family resources for this experience.
At game’s end, and for the third game in a row, the experience was mired by a complete team collapse, brought to life by visibly terrified leadership and players dancing while losing on the sideline.
As fans exited, they launched garbage onto the field while storming out. This leaves the kid wondering, “is this all normal?”
This is not an experience to be proud of. And if this program and all of the tradition that *is worth being proud of* is to survive, there needs to be significant and immediate changes. This is all totally unacceptable.
Dylan Raiola and Scott Frost each have a ranked win in back-to-back weeks.
Because of course they do.

Good reminder that Matt Rhule is 2-26 in Top 25 games and 0-12 against Top 10 teams.
He has lost 21 straight ranked games.
Matt Rhule vs. Dan Lanning & Curt Cignetti in 2H:
13 total drives
2 scoring drives
4 turnovers (1 INT, 3 downs)
5 punts (4 of those 3 & Out)
Nebraska had an 88.2% (IND) and 85.4% (ORE) chance of winning each game. Blew both. 0-2.
That's a 1.72% chance to lose BOTH games.
Oregon is starting a 180 pound, third-string quarterback, has looked awful compared to preseason expectations, is two games worse than Nebraska in record... but still a touchdown favorite 😳
Absolutely zero respect for Matt Rhule 🙃
