Seeing the amount of people shitting on PHP is crazy. Seems like lot of "software developers" doesn't know the standards or security embargo and preparation.
The reason it was a mess was because embargo got broken by third parties, forcing to an unwanted anticipated disclosure
(And advance of 24h for the release date? Did not confirmed this yet on me end). Builds weren't even done for docker on release and the panic made the whole supply chain lag (hi Github not anticipating the overload, and the Jenkins server getting DDoS'd).
Confirmed the advance of 24h of the release date in the postmortem of the foundation: thephp.foundation/blog/2026/…
can't answer directly so I qrt
basically yes
best use would be to have a password manager and you have one different password for each website
2FA enabled (NOT VIA SMS), passkey is even better
and, even better, one different email per account using email aliases
Je fais Lyon-Paris dans la nuit du dimanche à lundi je vais être à Bercy à 8h j'espère je vais pas me faire gazer ou quelque chose 🥺
