This didn’t make yesterday’s story (espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5024…), but here’s one more interesting answer from Josh Jacobs’ first time speaking to reporters since his arrest in May.
On what he said to his teammates when he addressed the situation with them:
Packers held only what they called a job-through today so practice participations are estimated, but only one DNP today.
Josh Jacobs not listed so presumably he’s full go.
Josh Jacobs, with his voice shaky at times, spoke for the first time since May.

Jordan Love said there’s no chance this back injury keeps him out on Sunday, but he said today’s walk through was good for his sore back.
Matt LaFleur on Josh Jacobs:
“I believe in second chance.”

LaFleur said the improvement in the offensive line has come from better details and fundamentals. He said they’ve added a few extra minutes to the individual drills, so perhaps that’s helped too.
The Packers are doing a jog-through workout today. Matt LaFleur said it’s because they’re coming off a late Sunday game and also have a Thursday game the following week.
So is two full practices enough to get Josh Jacobs ready to play?
“We’ll see. We’ll work through it.”
Packers OC Adam Stenavich said on Matthew Golden’s drops:
“You just gotta trust yourself.”
Otherwise praised Golden for his big plays.
Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon won’t complain about the roughing the passer penalties:
“We can’t foul. It’s continuing to educate, continuing to talk technique and make sure we make the correct decisions in real time, which I know is not easy to do. Good defenses don’t beat themselves.”
What happens now that Josh Jacobs is eligible to practice and play?

Update: The Packers are planning to sign him to the practice, per source.
The Packers held a tryout for DT Mazi Smith, the former first-round pick out of Michigan. Smith was the 26th overall pick of the Cowboys in 2023. He played in one game for the Dolphins this season but was released. Also spent time with the Jets last season.
