13 players have more rushing yards than the Green Bay Packers. One of them is Aaron Jones. 52 players have more rushing yards than Green Bay’s leading rusher. This includes 8 quarterbacks, Corey Kiner, Bam Knight, and Rachaad White (five games).

- The Packers left 9 points on the field via field goals of less than 35 yards. - The Packers dropped a TD that would’ve put them ahead. - The Packers got a turnover inside the 30-yard line, went 3 & out & didn’t make the field goal.

- The Packers had 4 three & outs. 3 in the 2nd half. - The Packers had an egregious neutral zone infraction while inside the opponent’s red zone, inside 2 minutes on 3rd & 5 that extending the drive & effectively ended the game. - The Packers went 5/15 on third downs.

- The Packers were 1/4 on scoring inside the red zone. - The Packers averaged 3.1 yards per carry. - The Packers went 0/1 on goal to go plays. The refs were bad, awful even. There were still a shit ton of chances to win that ball game. They should’ve won that ball game.

As a Wisconsinite, if the Packers could finish and play under pressure like this year’s Brewers, we might have 3-4 more Super Bowls over the last 15 years.

Reports have indicated Bam Knight will get plenty of early down work this week with no Jeremiyah Love. Based on how how Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight have played this season, I’d believe them.
Last week, in one game, Bam Knight rushed for more than 50% of the yards Tyler Allgeier has rushed for in 5 weeks. Allgeier has 157 yards on 53 carries, 2.9 YPC, for the season. Bam Knight had 80 yards on 15 carries last week, 5.3 YPC.

Ben Johnson & Matt LaFleur learning that you can just play your best WR all the time & it’s not against the rules in the same year is just…

As one of the other 31 teams, I can see you saying, “Okay, Marvin Harrison didn’t work out because of Arizona. Rough QB play & bad coaching. We can get the most out of him.” But for Brian Thomas, if it didn’t work for Lawrence & Liam Coen, why’s it gonna work for your team?

I don’t think there’s any world where Brian Thomas Jr. ends up in Las Vegas, Los Angeles or San Francisco. He just hasn’t shown the physicality that Klint Kubiak, Kyle Shannan, or Sean McVay require out of their WRs.

Great… now Josh Downs is gonna get buried by another veteran receiver. I say that in jest, but also… who knows quite honestly? Who has he ever held off?
New moves in Indy: Colts signed veteran WR Mecole Hardman Jr. and P Thomas Morstead to their practice squad.

The list of receivers I’d rather roster over Josh Downs grows weekly. Omar Cooper? Yes. Jaylin Noel? Yes. Kendrick Bourne? Yes. Jerry Jeudy? What if he gets traded, yup, I’ll take him too! Travis Hunter? So you’re saying there’s a chance! I draw the line at Brian Thomas…
Is it time to move on from Bo Nix or Josh Downs? With injuries and bye weeks piling up, every roster spot counts. Our Week 7 Cut List breaks down who’s expendable and who’s worth holding onto. (via @RobLorge) rotoballer.com/who-to-drop-f…

Show me all the separation & ASS stats that you want, I don’t care. Alec Pierce last played in Week 2. Since, Keenan Allen has 29 targets, 19 catches, 190 yards & 1 touchdown in 3 games. Josh Downs has 29 targets, 15 catches, 180 yards & 0 touchdowns in 4 (!!!) games. See ya!

I get all the Brian Thomas trade rumors, but Arizona wasn’t playing for the playoffs. Jacksonville is. BTJ gives you solid depth at WR4 with a player who knows the playbook well. Trading him doesn’t help them get better. Trade him in the offseason.

If Parker Washington or Jakobi Meyers or Josh Cameron gets hurt, Jaguars is going to want BTJ. That ain’t why they drafted him, but it is what it is. 2026 is the most important thing for them right now. Win now, trade him in the offseason for tomorrow when you can replace him.

Check out my top waiver wire picks. This article lists the players I would be adding first at each position and covers all relevant players for 10-team to 12-team leagues. The waiver wire has been thin this year, but there’s a lot of fun receivers this week!
