Christianity is the better way because Jesus Christ does more than reveal the truth. He redeems those who have rejected it. The answer to a culture drowning in lies is Christ alone, who is the Way, Truth, and the Life.
Does @CTmagazine read these comments? Who exactly is their audience? Honest question.
A Note on the Elisabeth Elliot Article
Our editor in chief on why the piece was taken down and why it was republished.

“There exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level.”
— Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America (1835)
True equality upholds human dignity. It does not demand tearing others down. A free society cannot flourish without moral restraint.
We cannot demand justice while denying absolute truth. If everyone gets to define right and wrong for themselves, on what basis can we condemn evil?

Christianity Today has seen about half its staff quit or laid off in the last 14 mos. Former employees told me that new business leaders have intervened in editorial decisions & are effectively abandoning the outlet's commitment to independent journalism. nytimes.com/2026/10/21/us/ch…
The first lie in the Garden was that humanity could determine good and evil independently of God. Moral relativism is simply that ancient rebellion repackaged for a modern generation.
When a society rejects absolute truth, morality becomes a matter of opinion, and freedom eventually gives way to tyranny.

Be sure to read @DennyBurk’s column in response to the tendentious claim that Elisabeth Elliot was bisexual. wng.org/opinions/when-journa…
Our identity is not something we invent. It begins with the God who created us. We don’t define ourselves; we discover who we are in light of our Creator.
One of the greatest lies of our age is the belief that freedom means living without accountability to our Creator. True freedom is not found in rejecting God’s design, but in embracing it.

Background on @CTmagazine’s now deleted article. This fails the most basic journalistic standards. It’s sensationalizng nonsense. The most generous explanation for it is publicizing a book, which suggests corruption in the editorial process.
I hear CT paywalled William Stell's accusation that Elizabeth Elliot was "bi." I wrote about a few weeks ago in my review of Born Again Queer. equip.org/articles/lgbtq-mov…
Here is what I said: /1
At its root, radical gender ideology is radical gender idolatry. When we exchange the authority of the Creator for the autonomy of the self, we don’t find freedom. We become enslaved to the very identity we are trying to create.
We must never confuse affirmation with love. Biblical love does not require us to affirm everything someone believes. It requires us to speak the truth with compassion and point people to the goodness of God’s design.
The culture says, “My body, my choice.’ But the Christian declares: ‘My body, God’s creation. My whole self, for His glory.”

The gospel, strictly taken, consists of pure promises of grace and glory.

Yesterday, @RobPacienza and @JackBrewerBSI joined over 150 Hill staffers for our September Politics and Principles Luncheon on Capitol Hill.
Jack talked about what it means to prepare yourself to lead in the public square through prayer, repentance, fasting, worship, and service. These five spiritual disciplines shape both our personal lives and the way we fulfill our calling in government and politics.
At the Center for Christian Statesmanship, we aim to equip the next generation of Christian leaders on Capitol Hill to grow in their faith and serve with a biblical worldview. We’re grateful to walk alongside these men and women as they put their faith into practice and serve our nation, grounded in God’s Word and the hope of the gospel.
