Last night, my 5 y/o told me he's going to go to North Central High School, IU, and then work at IU Health. I'm glad he has that all figured out.

Today is a busy day with the midterm elections, and I don’t want to distract anyone from voting, but today is also the release date for my new book, Hidden History of Indiana. Available online and at Barnes & Noble, and likely at various local bookstores in your community.

It took me 20 minutes to vote, and there were no federal employees there. Just generous neighbors donating their time and engaged citizens happy to perform their civic duty.

Steve Gunn :: Sundowner aquariumdrunkard.com/2026/11… ... a long neglected album dates to the beginning of Steve Gunn’s career, when it seemed that the guitarist might become a Takoma-style picker rather than the songwriter/improvisational experimenter he has since turned out to be.

They broke Eisenhower’s globe because they didn’t want to wait for a team of specialist historians to move it. I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for Pete Hegseth’s DoD.
EXCLUSIVE: Pete Hegseth wanted Gen. Dwight Eisenhower’s globe for his office. His staff broke it. We have photos.

The same cliquish ego stroking games that defined middle school carry right over into the corporate world. Some people love that shit, but I do NOT. I just want to deliver satisfactory work, keep my family insured, and go home to play with my kid. Repeat.
