BREAKING: Anthony Albanese is already floating a backflip on his disastrous 2026 tax changes. He left the door open on Thursday to revisiting the reforms, including the capital gains tax overhaul, R&D concessions and SMSF investment bans, if they fail to deliver. This is the same Prime Minister who promised before the 2025 election that changes to negative gearing and the 50 per cent CGT discount were “off the table.” Labor then broke that promise, called it a “change in position,” and sold the higher taxes as fairness. Now businesses are warning of unintended consequences. Olympic athlete funding is being cut by $10 million. A post budget poll showed 44 per cent of voters believed the changes would leave them worse off. Albanese’s response? “We think that we’ve got the measures right” while consulting, adjusting, and refusing to rule out backing down again. He claims the Coalition stands for higher taxes. The Coalition has promised to repeal Labor’s changes. Labor’s own poll shows households expect to be worse off. Another broken promise. Another backflip. Another round of tax hikes sold as reform.

Last night, David Farley MP brought the following matters to the attention of the leadership of One Nation. Over the past few weeks, the Prime Minister has met with David privately. The Prime Minister initiated these meetings. This week, David received a letter from the Prime Minister stating that he had allocated David a personal staff position outside of One Nation’s unresolved staffing request. David did not request this allocation of staff. No reason was provided by the Prime Minister for the provision of this staff. Following these discussions, senior ministers raised grant funding under the Sustainable Communities Program for the Murray Darling Basin. David did not initiate the discussion regarding this program. Taken together, these actions have left David and One Nation deeply concerned that the government is seeking to use taxpayer funds to exert undue political influence over politicians. We have decided to expose these grubby dealings because the public deserves to know what the Albanese Labor government is doing behind closed doors. For months, One Nation has been fighting for fair, transparent and objective allocation of staffing for parliamentarians. The Prime Minister has refused to respond to these calls. Yet astonishingly, this week the Prime Minister provided a letter to David directly granting a Personal Adviser 3 position, paid up to $200,000, effective immediately. David has rejected this unsolicited allocation. Last month, One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson stood alongside the Member for Fowler, Dai Le MP and Senator for Western Australia, Fatima Payman to demand consistent, transparent and independently determined staffing allocations. They stood together despite their political differences because this matters to our democracy. The Prime Minister should not personally control the resources available to his political opponents. While this power has always been open to abuse, it has, in our view, been weaponised to an unprecedented extent under this Labor Government and this Prime Minister. One Nation introduced our Safe Staffing Guarantee Bill to stop this abuse of power. Labor, the Coalition and the Greens all united to block the Bill. This is the type of politics that Australians are sick of. The Prime Minister is trying to drag One Nation down to his level of grubby politics. One Nation will have no part of it. The second issue that needs to be brought into the open is the way in which the Albanese Labor government appears to be using public grant money to achieve their political objectives and paper over policy failures. The government has directly raised the prospect of grants available to the Murray Darling Basin under the Sustainable Communities Program as compensation for water buybacks. David and One Nation will always fight for Farrer’s fair share of public resources, but we will never allow grant funding to buy cooperation or silence on the issue of water advocacy, implicit or otherwise. We know the number one thing Farrer and other basin communities need is water. One Nation does not accept that devastating water buybacks are a foregone conclusion. A future One Nation government will end water buybacks. This government’s actions are the type of broken politics that undermines the confidence Australians have in our democracy. It’s what Professor Anne Twomey has described as ‘grey corruption’. One Nation will always stand up for the interests of all Australians. We won’t be bought or divided by this Prime Minister. ENDS

It is almost criminally negligent for the government to be cutting existing defence capabilities to pay for the AUKUS subs that are still years and years away. Take mine hunting. As the closure of the Straits of Hormuz shows, this is a vital capability and it’s just wrong that we won’t have it. If our “friends” in Beijing ever decided to mine our harbours who would the PM turn to for help?

The Prime Minister is a serial liar. He lied to Australians about Capital Gains Tax and Negative Gearing to get elected. He lied about falling off a stage. He lied about reducing power bills by $275. He lied about mocking the Japanese Prime Minister. Now, he's lying about his dodgy $6 million taxpayer-funded grant to the Marrickville Golf Club. In every instance, he has refused to admit he was wrong and apologise. In doing so, he has treated Australians like fools. His word was never his bond. Australians deserve a Prime Minister with the honesty to give straight answers to simple questions and the humility to admit when they've made a mistake.

The attack on free speech in Australia is in full swing. Albanese's plan to silence all opposition will backfire. The people will not be silenced!
🚨BREAKING: The Online Safety Amendment (Digital Duty of Care) Bill 2026 has passed in the House of Representatives by Labor, Independents and the Greens. 96 YES, 38 NO. Voted against by Liberals, Nationals, One Nation and Rebekha Sharkie. Andrew Hastie didn’t appear at any divisions. This bill will force online businesses to conduct annual risk assessments, report to eSafety and face penalties for non-compliance. It gives the government power to influence platform design features and impose age-assurance requirements. It authorises eSafety to operate covert “sock puppet” accounts for government surveillance and information warfare. It will classify content that “encourages or promotes hostile attitudes towards women or gender equality” as harmful, including legitimate criticism of feminism. Public hearings are set for 9–10 November, with the inquiry report due 20 November. The bill must still pass the Senate.

If rates go up again, I honestly don’t know how we’ll keep the house. This isn’t just about a loan. It’s about the place where our children sleep, where we’ve built our lives, and where we thought we were safe. The stress of not knowing whether we can make the next payment is constant. It keeps me up at night. It affects how I show up at work and how present I am with my family. I’m not asking for special treatment — I’m asking for recognition that another rise will push ordinary families like mine past the point of coping. #Chalmers #RBA #inflation

Just In: Australia is in real trouble. Labor’s Digital Duty of Care Bill just passed They’ve weaponised the attack on Helen Haines to push through industrial scale censorship Labor will operate sock puppets to push their agendas under the guise of “surveillance” These false accounts will like politicians posts, and comment, ultimately swaying debate in the left’s favour. It will make it near impossible to distinguish truth from lies In what world does a once healthy functioning democracy do this to its citizens?
Helen Haines lost both legs after being run down outside her Wangaratta office. Within days, the Prime Minister, Governor-General, AFP, ASIO and a line-up of ministers were reading from the same script. Social media is the problem, and the ‘Digital Duty of Care’ is the fix.

BREAKING: A major civil war has erupted inside the Albanese Government, with a leadership spill officially brewing within the Labor Party. In a stunning and unprecedented move, Treasurer Jim Chalmers has gone into survival mode, publicly pointing the finger directly at his boss, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, as the primary reason Labor’s popularity has completely plummeted. Make no mistake, the lines have been drawn, the factions are fracturing, and a leadership spill is coming. Here is exactly how the civil war is playing out: Jim Chalmers openly name checked Anthony Albanese and other senior ministers, declaring that everyone is responsible for their own “parts of the shop” Translation? He is refusing to take the sole fall for Labor’s catastrophic economic failures and tanking poll numbers. In what is being viewed as direct code for internal warfare, Chalmers’ comments firmly dump the blame for Labor's cascading crises onto his colleagues: He ripped into Finance Minister Katy Gallagher for the ballooning public service. Had a dig at Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke for national security and immigration failures. Blamed Foreign Minister Penny Wong for diplomatic blunders. And then stunningly, Anthony Albanese for the absolute disaster of the lot. With yet another interest rate hike tipped for Melbourne Cup Day, Chalmers is desperately trying to shield himself from the impending fallout of a faltering economy and soaring inflation. And typically, as the domestic front burns, Albanese is preparing to jet off to Antigua and Barbuda, leaving behind an increasingly toxic, agitated cabinet and a deputy chair relationship that is completely fractured. The defensive posture from Chalmers proves he knows the ship is sinking. The blame game has begun, trust is entirely gone, and a challenge for the lodge is now inevitable.

BREAKING: Despite soaring inflation and another interest rate hike now looking almost certain, Jim Chalmers says he will not commit to stop spending. Federal government spending has exploded to 26.9% of the economy, the highest in 40 years outside the pandemic. Even RBA Governor Michele Bullock has directly stated that government expenditure is fueling Australia's inflation problem, yet the Treasurer is refusing to commit to delivering net savings in his upcoming mid year budget update. While households downsize to mince meat to stretch their budgets, Labor's net policy decisions have put them on track to blow through $180 billion in savings plus an extra $100 billion by 2030. Australia's inflation is now outstripping the US, UK, Canada, and NZ. The data shows that if the government simply offset its policy choices with matching savings, the projected $22b deficit would be a $22b surplus. Households are already feeling it. Woolworths reported double digit growth in mince sales as families stretch meals. Australians are poorer under Labor. The spending binge continues, and so does the pain for families.

Last night the ATO admitted it didn’t understand how small businesses use credit cards for cash flow, yet cut them off without even consulting them. That’s the Albanese government to a tee. Career politicians who think they know better than the Australians taking risks and running businesses. They don’t understand the impact, won’t listen and don’t care who pays the price.

I know Albanese cops a lot of criticism, but I genuinely think he's doing a decent job. He's had some tough decisions to make, and while I don't agree with everything, I think he deserves more credit than he gets. Just my opinion.
