₱55-M FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD, PERO SA KARAGATAN NG BRUNEI NAKA-PLOT ANG COORDINATES
A budget watchdog has flagged ₱190 billion worth of infrastructure projects allegedly inserted by the House of Representatives into the Department of Agriculture’s proposed 2027 budget, citing questionable project locations and missing public documents.
According to the People’s Budget Coalition (PBC), some farm-to-market road projects were mapped in bodies of water far from their intended locations—including areas near Benham Rise, Indonesia, and Brunei.
The coalition is urging the Senate, the executive branch, and the DA to review the 7,054 projects and make supporting documents publicly available for scrutiny.
PBC warned that the lack of transparency could raise concerns over the proper use of public funds, stressing the need for stronger oversight of projects intended to support farmers and improve food security.

MACHONG CHISMISAN's CONTRACT TERMINATED
JUST IN: The Pod Network has formally terminated its contract with the #MachongChismisan podcast, removing the show from its network effective immediately.
The move comes after the podcast's hosts drew online backlash over a joke targeting Joshua "Josh" Aquino, the eldest son of Kris Aquino, who has special needs.

Good luck to those 'men' haha.
Kris really said: 'Trust, you will be dealt with!'

Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.

LOL. Stop hiding behind “we’re just being critical” when all you can see right now is Alex Eala’s failure to secure the Philippines the GOLD medal we all hoped and expected her to get.
And when you can’t handle that disappointment, you air out your sentiments like it’s Alex’s sole responsibility to please YOU. Not the country. Not herself. YOU.
And can you people stop getting so defensive if you’re so sure you’re just being critical? Because there’s a VERY FINE LINE between constructive criticism and being a plain asshole.
We are coming for the latter.
“World No. 18, tapos nagpatalo lang sa No. 85?!”
“It could’ve been the easiest GOLD for PH if she’s really as good as people believe.”
“Yan ang napapala natin sa mga nepo-babies na binibigyan ng platform.”
“Alex Eala is clearly just overly hyped and promoted. Ang bobo sa part na natalo ng lower-ranked player.”
“NakapagWTA lang naman yan dahil mayaman.”
“Dun ka na sa abroad, wag na sa Pilipinas.”
These are just SOME of the nasty comments you can PUBLICLY see after that heartbreaking loss.
And what makes it worse? THEY’RE COMING FROM FELLOW FILIPINOS.
So no, don’t tell us to shut up and “learn to accept criticism,” because these are not criticisms at all.
There’s a difference between discussing her stamina, her performance, her mistakes, or what she could’ve done better and straight-up insulting her, belittling everything she has accomplished, and suddenly deciding she was “overhyped” because she lost ONE match you expected her to win.
Athletes lose. Higher-ranked players lose to lower-ranked players. Favorites get upset. That’s literally part of sports.
You’re allowed to be disappointed. You’re allowed to analyze her performance. You’re even allowed to say she played badly.
But acting like Alex suddenly owes you an apology for not delivering the medal YOU already counted as yours? Please.
These are Filipino ingrates who don’t deserve to suddenly jump on the celebration train the next time Alex Eala wins something for herself and for the country.
And if you genuinely believe Alex doesn’t deserve where she is right now, then just fucking follow another sport and leave her alone.
It’s as simple as that. 🤷♀️
