Getting in on the Daily Express/Mail faux outrage on this is very on brand, I suppose.
The contempt some in Labour have for those involved in the arts is what is startling. Philistines.
A casual reminder that the guy below, quote tweeting the deranged Agent P, used to be considered amongst the foremost political journalists in the UK.
Oh how the mighty can fall indeed
Reform are vile!
I have very little for Labour, however if we are to remain in the UK (as we likely will be for the timebeing sadly), Burnham better get their act together before 2029, and stop those utter charlatans, racists and crooks from getting anywhere near power.
Reform UK announced that the party wants to stop foreign nationals receiving benefits – including EU citizens with settled status.

I can’t believe this guy was once a serious journalist. He’s constantly appearing in my feed talking utter 💩.
The obsessive level of loathing he has for one political party makes you wonder how he could ever provide balance in the days when he was required to be impartial…
The primary goal was Stuart kingship, however:
On 9/10/1745, while the Jacobites controlled Edinburgh, Charles issued a declaration from Holyrood House concerning the Union. Addressing Scottish MPs, the declaration stated:
“the pretended Union of the Kingdoms being now at an End”
Is Scottish ignorance of Scottish history really that bad? The 1745 Jacobite rebellion was to restore the Catholic Stuart line to the British throne. That’s why Prince Charlie invaded England (but didn’t make it to London). That’s why Protestant Scots fought against him. It had nothing to do with independence. Doh!
He does so for political reasons, which is thoroughly depressing; and it making statements of fact, littered with bias and real historical ignorance.
The same as his nonsense on Scots language, Burns etc. his politics regularly get in the way of fact, so 🤷♂️
I’d recommend fact checking, before spurting out historical illiteracy, to support your political ideology @afneil . I’d expect better from such an experienced journalist.
.@JohnSwinney has not sacked his Minister who admits to behaviour that clearly breaches the ministerial code.
I’ve therefore written to the First Minister, urging him to refer this matter to the independent advisers on the ministerial code.
