A guy has worn an Apple Watch every day for 6 years. He's a paramedic. He's also an endurance athlete who's completed 3 Ironman triathlons.
He's seen the Apple Watch from both sides as a first responder who's arrived at scenes where the watch already called 911 before anyone else could, and as a user who tracks every workout, every heartbeat, and every hour of sleep.
He told me something most Apple Watch owners have never considered:
"The Apple Watch is the most advanced health monitoring device ever sold to consumers. It can take an ECG from your wrist. It can detect atrial fibrillation, sleep apnea, and dangerously low heart rates while you sleep. It can sense a car crash and call paramedics when you can't. It can detect that you've fallen and haven't moved for 60 seconds and send your GPS coordinates to 911 automatically. I've responded to calls that were placed by the watch, not the person. The person was unconscious. The watch saved their life."
He said most people use it to check the time, close their activity rings, and read text messages.
"You're wearing a $400 medical device, a safety system, a fitness lab, and a remote control for your entire digital life. You're using it as a watch that vibrates."
Here are the 9 things he does that most Apple Watch owners never try:

Just found out that the man @KathViner paid to paint a target on Sophie Cunningham's back, Howard Bryant, was arrested for choking his wife in front of their son.
The sheer nastiness, the loathing for independent-minded women and anyone saying the wrong thing, runs like a thread though this hateful Guardian piece
(And well done Sophie, because they attack when they can’t silence)
