Another Irish American killed for this pointless war
BREAKING: President Trump honors the family of fallen U.S. soldier Lt. Tyler Feehan at a Georgia rally as his guests, hours after attending the dignified transfer. Trump invited the Georgia family to travel home with him aboard Air Force One.
“This is a son who was like a flawless, perfect person, beautiful, beautiful son, handsome in every way, brilliant, respected by everybody.”
“He was a person that was going all the way. He was going to be a general. He would have been a general very quickly. He was heading in that path.”
“To Shari and Stephen and David, we will carry Tyler's memory in our hearts forever. And I just want to thank you. It's an honor to have you here today.
Our fears pale in comparison to the great duty we have to our nation and God. Fearlessness is demanded of us

🐘The GOP’s 2028 dark horse might be a 36-year-old former quarterback you’ve never heard of.
He left Fox News to work for free on Trump’s long-shot 2016 campaign, and by 29 he was in charge of political appointments in the executive branch.
Today he’s an Irish American with millions of young followers and an insider’s knowledge of Washington.
This is the story of John McEntee 🧵
Gaels in control

I feel optimistic on the true American people. Copium? Perhaps. Or it could finally be the opportunity to face the calamity head on
Texas was once a state with its own unique identity, but has been allowed to completely transform within 1.5 generations. Remind me who's been in control?

The situation is clear: European countries have become ungovernable. Everywhere, protest votes are deciding elections, with voters increasingly voting against the status quo. This crisis of governance affects both those who supported the policies that brought Europe to this point and those who opposed them from the very beginning.
This could create new opportunities for patriotic forces in the coming years, as they remain in opposition in most European countries.
But where patriots have been in government, their situation is particularly difficult. They, too, face growing voter dissatisfaction, despite having fought against the liberal status quo for years.
The liberal policies that created and continue to deepen Europe’s current crisis offer no long-term solution. On the contrary, as the situation deteriorates, liberal politics is becoming increasingly aggressive and authoritarian.
Europe’s way out could be a new democratic political wave, bringing together patriotic forces currently in opposition and committed to genuine strategic change.
What Europe needs is a fundamental shift: away from preparations for war and towards peace and security; away from economic decline and towards competitiveness and growth.
But people must also recognise something important: Europe’s problems cannot be solved through Facebook posts, political messaging, or a few high-profile changes of personnel.
Europe does not simply need new faces. It needs a new political direction, a clear strategy, and political forces seeking a democratic mandate to carry it out.
And time is running out. If Europe fails to make a genuine strategic change of course within the next few years, mounting economic and social tensions could lead to political crises, chaos, and even institutional collapse on a scale that is difficult to imagine today.
Europe does not simply need a change of government. It needs a change of political era.
