I don’t want to be ugly, but what on earth is going on with election posters this year? 😭 Some have writing so small you need binoculars to read it. Others have managed to squeeze an entire manifesto onto one tiny poster. Then there’s the complete lack of consistency. Even within the same party, some candidates have colour photographs, others are in black and white, and one party that shall remain nameless has posters where the candidates look like somebody drew them. And can we PLEASE talk about the photographs? Some of these candidates look downright menacing! Not because of their faces, but because of the angles, lighting and cropping. Why have you photographed someone asking for my vote like they’re the villain😭 Surely the bare minimum of an election poster is that I can recognise the candidate, read what they’re saying and not feel vaguely threatened by their photograph? Who is approving these things? 😂
