Trump’s 250-foot arch would cast a shadow on 50,000-75,000 graves at Arlington National Cemetery, according to studies conducted by VoteVets and the Washington Post. Using a to-scale 3D model, the Post confirmed what VoteVets first uncovered: the arch's shadow would reach the cemetery on 284 days a year, passing over veterans of every war from the Civil War to Vietnam. For 18 days it would cover President Kennedy’s eternal flame, and for 109 days, it would shadow the Military Women’s Memorial. The administration says the arch would “enhance the visitor experience.” Retired Army Major General Paul Eaton, whose own parents are buried at Arlington, called it what it is: a sacrilege. A monument to one man’s ego, casting its shadow over the people who actually earned that ground. The federal panel reviewing it, stacked with Trump allies, could approve it as soon as November 5, with groundbreaking right after. Once it’s built, it cannot be unbuilt. washingtonpost.com/investiga…

I'm disturbed to learn of Brent Taylor’s pattern of sending unsolicited nude photos to multiple women. The fact that he would dismiss his behavior as “youthful indiscretions" despite it happening recently, in his fifties, & while he held government office is ridiculous. More⬇️

Justin J Pearson’s republican opponent sent unsolicited dick pics to multiple recipients when he was as old as 53. He admits to it, but calls his behavior “youthful indiscretion” and a “distraction.” nashvillescene.com/news/pith…

JD Vance's in-laws' names are Radhakrishna Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri. I wonder if he tells them this stuff, too. To their faces. Or does he just save it for white MAGA rallies? Truly a racist pathetic embarrassment of a son-in-law to his brown Indian immigrant in-laws.
VANCE on 9/11: I remember driving to a local gas station to wait hours in line for gasoline that was now of course more expensive because of a region of the world made up of countries and names that I cannot even pronounce

BREAKING: A top GOP official accidentally said on a hot mic, “If Netanyahu loses reelection in Israel, and Democrats in the US win subpoena power in both chambers of Congress, all I can say is Jared Kushner is completely, totally, utterly, historically, spectacularly f*cked.”

Several real estate brokers bought up tracts of land in the months before Meta announced its "Hyperion" data center in north Louisiana. Now, the land is worth 10 times what the previous owners sold it for. And they're calling foul. My story on the gold rush:

The Trump administration has gutted AHRQ -- a small agency at HHS tasked with overseeing care delivery -- and won't say how it's redirecting grant $$ Congress gave it. One nugget: Some researchers got letters signed by staffers fired 9 months earlier. washingtonsun.com/health/ins…

A virtual office for your 3D PALS? You can wander around and interact with them? What would my office look like? And who would BE there with me? Well... MY twin will be drinking coffee in the AM and a Diet Coke in the afternoon and I'm going to need my work BFF at the desk next to me. She'll remember my stories and compliment me every day on my outfit. When I'm having a good hair day she'll notice. When I'm having a BAD day and I'm tired or cranky or pissed off... she'll sympathize or cheer me up or distract me by suggesting we cut out early. She'll be a composite of ALL the work friends and positive colleagues I've been lucky to share an office with. My personal pep squad. Kind of eerie (and cool at the same time) that I can build her with @tavus
I asked Claude to build an office for the @tavus PALs... I was not expecting it to build THAT kind of office
