Last week, Cycling UK enjoyed an excellent e-cycle ride with @LouHaigh, Sheffield Heeley's MP and Shadow Secretary for Transport, in her Sheffield constituency. 🚵
We also spoke with Louise about our work and her transport priorities. Find out more: cyclinguk.org/meeting-louise…
Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill received a MOBO Paving the Way award to celebrate her incredible achievements and being an inspiration to the nation.
I was very honoured to carve the inscription.
Her achievement means a lot to us. ❤️🥇👏🏾
Huge thanks to @MOBOAwards and @SheffCouncil

A moment we won't forget 🤩 Today, we honoured our #MOBOAwards Paving The Way Award recipient, Dame #JessicaEnnisHill (@J_Ennis), with a specially engraved commemorative paving stone 🙌🏾 @SheffCouncil
Placed in the very stadium where she trained as a young person, the Olympic champion and three-time world champion heptathlete was surrounded by friends, family and supporters as we cemented her success, applauded her work with local charities and, most importantly, celebrated her incredible journey that has inspired so many 👏🏾🇬🇧

A plaque has been unveiled at the @eissheff in #Sheffield today in honour of Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
It’s been arranged between @SheffCouncil & the @MOBOAwards as part of its legacy:
Engrossed in the new @jamiesmart book, nearly walked into a bollard! The Impossible Pig! @Booktrust
After doing a free months e-bike trial with the brilliant folks at @WeAreCyclingUK I have been inspired to get my hands on an e-cargo bike for the business!
Most of my journeys are short around Sheffield and I mainly take tools to site when working on bigger sculpture projects.
Encouraging to see such a positive cycling story in the @Daily_Express! After taking out a free loan with our #MakingCyclingEasier scheme, Steve from Sheffield has swapped his van for an e-cargo bike, saving money and boosting his fitness in the process. express.co.uk/news/uk/180937…

Brilliant meet up in real life with mine and previous cohorts who completed Create Place: The Place Making and Co-Creation Leadership Programme.
Many thanks to Carola Boehm and Anna Francis, and the team that delivered the programme at Staffordshire University.

Stars have arrived in Handsworth! Each point of each star is a suggested date, time or number as plotted on a 12hr clock face, all submitted by local people! It's been great to work with @SYorksHA on this project. 😊👍#sculpture #publicart

We're thrilled to show you the new artwork at our Finchwell Road development in Handsworth 🤩🙌
A huge thank you to @RocheStone for working with our customers and the community to produce 18 unique carved stone plaques. We'll share more about the stories behind each star soon ⭐️

🗣 We’re excited to announce that @RocheStone has won the Keith Hayman Award for Public Art, for his stonemason project based on the Great Sheffield Flood of 1864! 🗣
☘️ All the items on the wall were lost by survivors of the flood and were important to those affected.

It's landed! The handsome piece of stone for the public realm at our beautiful site in Topcliffe Road, Dishforth! Our Stonemason @RocheStone is going to begin carving this on Monday. Keep your eyes peeled for further updates! @NewettHomes @StonewaterUK #AffordableHousing
The first two Stars!
These are part of a public art project organised with the brilliant team at @SYorksHA
We've asked the residents of a new housing development to give dates or times of the day, or single numbers, which are significant to them. These are then plotted on a clock face and the points form the points of a star individual to each household.
