$TSLA: CYBERTRUCK PRODUCTION TO WIND DOWN IN 2027?
Elon Musk says Tesla plans to wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around mid-2027 to make room for increased Cybercab production.
The move signals a shift in production priorities as Tesla puts more focus on its autonomous vehicle plans.
HUMANOID ROBOTS COULD BECOME A NEW GROWTH DRIVER FOR ANALOG CHIPMAKERS.
Morgan Stanley’s bull case estimates roughly $7,200 in analog and power semiconductor content per humanoid robot by 2030.
Potential revenue by supplier:
• $ADI: $1,625 per robot | $355M
• $ON: $1,125 | $246M
• $IFX: $1,094 | $239M
• $TXN: $1,000 | $219M
• $STM: $750 | $164M
• $MPWR: $500 | $109M
• $NXPI: $469 | $103M
• $MCHP: $344 | $75M
• $ALGM: $188 | $41M
The interesting part: these estimates assume only ~220,000 humanoid robots by 2030.
The near-term revenue opportunity is still relatively small, but the semiconductor content per robot highlights the potential upside for these suppliers if adoption accelerates.
Humanoid robotics could become another meaningful demand driver for the analog and power chip industry.
GOLDMAN SACHS CUTS ITS GOLD PRICE TARGETS
Following the Fed’s hawkish shift, Goldman lowered its forecasts:
🔸 End-2026: $4,150 (from $4,650)
🔸 End-2027: $4,800 (from $5,400)
The bank now expects a December rate hike, with rate cuts potentially pushed back to late 2027.
However, Goldman still sees central banks buying around 60 tonnes of gold per month, supporting its outlook for roughly 15% upside by the end of 2027.
Near-term pressure, but the longer-term demand story remains intact.
CME has delayed the launch of futures tied to Nvidia $NVDA GPU rental prices for a second time.
According to The Information, the launch is now pushed to January, pending regulatory approval.
The contracts would give investors a new way to trade and hedge exposure to AI compute pricing, adding another layer to the growing market for AI infrastructure.
THE DECEMBER FED RATE HIKE IS BACK ON THE TABLE.
The U.S. added 165,000 jobs in October, well above the 65,000 economists expected.
Other key details:
• Unemployment fell to 4.1%
• Monthly wage growth accelerated 0.4%
• September payrolls revised from 29K to 60K
• August payrolls revised from 133K to 186K
That’s 84,000 more jobs across the previous two months than initially reported.
Meanwhile, market-implied odds of another rate hike have climbed from 67% to 79%.
The Fed is facing a stronger labor market, inflation still above target and growing uncertainty around its next move.
For markets, the timing couldn’t be worse. Stocks are already under pressure from AI-related concerns, and the prospect of higher rates adds another headwind.
October CPI on November 10 is the next major data point before the December Fed meeting.
MICHAEL BURRY WAS RIGHT ABOUT ORACLE $ORCL
The timeline is getting harder to ignore:
• Nov. 2: Oracle files to raise $20B through stock and debt to fund its AI data center expansion.
• Nov. 4: Cancels a $7B AI chip lease with Tencent following U.S. pressure.
• Nov. 5: Shares fall 7%, extending losses to 17% in five days amid the AI infrastructure selloff.
• Today: $ORCL is down 66% from its record high.
It’s been 301 days since Burry reportedly shorted Oracle. The stock is now down 43% since then.
GOOGLE $GOOGL IS EXPANDING ITS AI INFRASTRUCTURE FOOTPRINT.
Google has acquired Crusoe’s Wyoming data center site, adding another piece to its growing AI infrastructure buildout.
Elon Musk says government revenue will account for less than 10% of $SPCX this quarter, while $TSLA has no government contracts.
That matters when considering a potential SpaceX-Tesla merger.
The combined company would remain overwhelmingly commercial, with its primary political exposure coming through regulatory approvals rather than direct government contracts.
ELI LILLY $LLY IS PARTNERING WITH HIMS & HERS $HIMS TO EXPAND ACCESS TO ITS WEIGHT-LOSS DRUGS.
Hims customers will be able to purchase Lilly’s obesity treatments directly through the platform at discounted cash prices, according to Bloomberg.
Pricing starts at:
• Foundayo (new weight-loss pill): $149/month
• Zepbound: $299/month
The partnership gives Lilly another distribution channel while expanding Hims’ weight-loss offering with branded treatments.
Another major move in the increasingly competitive weight-loss market.
