Meet MAGAt Jared Oneil Salmons, a registered Republican and prominent Eastern Kentucky pastor at Mount Olivet Baptist Church and the now-fired general manager of the Knott County Water and Sewer District. On October 13, 2026, his dual life as a community leader collapsed when the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested him on 17 state counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12. The arrest followed a targeted, undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation that tracked the distribution of explicit juvenile content across online accounts. On the day of his arrest, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Salmons’ residence in Leburn, Kentucky, seizing multiple pieces of electronic equipment used to facilitate the activity. During subsequent police interviews, Salmons reportedly admitted to owning the flagged accounts. Investigators revealed that Salmons confessed to utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to deliberately generate the sexually explicit material involving minors before distributing it online.
