The Library of the Abbey of St. Gall, Switzerland, contains over 170,000 books and documents, most notably a valuable collection of manuscripts from the 8th to the 10th centuries. It was rebuilt between 1758 and 1767 and is considered a masterpiece of Central European Rococo architecture.
