We voted today… and we voted to protect unborn life and voted against multiple genders and against the expansion of the state into the areas of the church. We also voted no on the three constitutional amendments that tried to disguise themselves as protecting families.

8 things to tell your brain every day (backed by neuroscience and scripture) Your brain will treat whatever you feed it as true. So put yourself back in charge. Here’s what I say: 1. I’m safe right now. 2. I can change my brain. 3. I’m enough. 4. Mistakes are how I grow. 5. Not everything I think is true. 6. My presence matters. 7. Every day is a new opportunity. 8. Stop saying “why.” Start saying “what’s next.” This isn’t positive thinking. It’s taking thoughts captive and giving your brain a different command. (Romans 12:2 has been saying this longer than neuroscience has.) Save this so you can review the list later. Share it with someone who needs to hear it. As we start Budget week, it’s important to remember that almost 1m young people are not in employment, education, or training. Youth unemployment is the moral crisis of our time. I hope the Chancellor takes urgent action to help young people into work. He could start by following the recommendations of @TheJobsFndn and lowering the cost of employing young people by abolishing employers’ national insurance for under-25s. Only by backing businesses can we create jobs and prevent a lost generation. I enjoyed listening to the reflections of people in Blackpool and the local MP @ChrisWebbMP

I am not a MAGA pastor, and I do not worship Donald Trump. I worship Jesus Christ! I support Trump because his policies more closely align with my Christian values. My Bible is my foundation, not a political party. I believe many of the policies promoted by today’s Democratic Party stand in direct opposition to biblical principles. My allegiance is to God first, and I will always measure politics against my faith. PERIOD. ✝️📖

It was a pleasure to discuss jobs, the economy, and Britain’s future with @GuyPinsent. To create growth and prosperity, the Government needs to ensure businesses have the conditions to flourish. Let’s back the job creators and forge a more prosperous future 🚀

10 THINGS I STARTED DOING TO GET CLOSER TO GOD This is what changed me not overnight, but deeply: 1. I STOPPED RUSHING MY MORNINGS WITH GOD Before, I prayed 5 minutes. Now I sit. No phone. Just me and Him. Psalm 27:8 "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek." 2. I STARTED TELLING HIM THE TRUTH, NOT RELIGIOUS WORDS I stopped saying "I am fine Lord" when I was bleeding. I started saying "Lord I'm hurt, I am angry, I am tired." Psalm 62:8 Pour out your heart before him. 3. I STARTED OBEYING THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME We keep asking for new instructions while ignoring the last one. I went back and obeyed what He told me 2 years ago. John 15:14 "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." 4. I REDUCED THE NOISE Less gossip. Less scrolling. Less unnecessary conversations. I can't hear God when my spirit is crowded. 1 Kings 19:12 God was not in the wind, not in the earthquake but in a still small voice. 5. I STARTED WITHDRAWING WITHOUT GUILT Like you said teach my hands to war. I stopped explaining why I need to be alone. Jesus withdrew often Luke 5:16. If He needed withdrawal, who am I? 6. I STARTED READING THE WORD TO HEAR HIM, NOT TO FINISH A PLAN Not 10 chapters a day to tick a box. Sometimes one verse for an hour. Joshua 1:8 Meditate therein day and night. Meditate, not race. 7. I STOPPED FIGHTING EVERY BATTLE WITH MY MOUTH I learned: some battles are won by silence. Exodus 14:14 "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." I let God defend me. 8. I STARTED FASTING NOT FOR SHOW* Not telling anyone. One day a week, just water. To kill my flesh so my spirit can be sharp. Matthew 17:21 Some things don't go out except by prayer and fasting. My discernment became fire after this. 9. I STARTED WORSHIPPING WHEN IT HURTS, NOT ONLY WHEN IT FEELS GOOD I put on worship when I wanted to cry. I sang when I wanted to complain. Acts 16:25 Paul and Silas worshipped at midnight, and chains broke. My chains started breaking. 10. I STARTED ASKING "LORD, WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING ME HERE?" Instead of "Why is this happening to me?" Every gossip, every betrayal, every delay became a classroom. Romans 8:28 started making sense All things work together for good. --- I didn't become perfect. I became closer. And closeness changed everything.

I agree with Pastor Philip Mitchell: the American pulpit has failed this nation. For far too long, too many churches have embraced seeker-friendly preaching, watered-down sermons, and messages designed to please people rather than convict hearts. We have become so concerned with offending people that we have forgotten the power of preaching the uncompromising Word of God. The pulpit was never meant to be a platform for entertainment. It was meant to be a place where truth is proclaimed, sin is confronted, repentance is preached, and Jesus Christ is exalted! America doesn’t need more watered-down sermons. America needs a return to biblical truth! Preachers must stop worrying about being politically correct and start being biblically faithful. We need men and women of God who will preach the whole counsel of God, even when the message is unpopular. The Church cannot be the light of the world if it refuses to shine light on the darkness. It’s time for the American pulpit to repent, return to the Word of God, and boldly proclaim the truth without compromise! #Christianity #AmericanChurch #BiblicalTruth #PreachTheWord #ChurchAwakening #Repentance #Revival #JesusChrist

Last night I spoke about the importance of enterprise. Little did I know I’d get home to news the Chancellor had ruled out a CGT rise. Good news. I hope this signals recognition that we need to attract investment and back the risk-takers who create jobs.

We should teach children about money in schools. Both parents and students want more financial education in the National Curriculum, and the Government is committed to delivering this. If we taught children about investments, we could set them up for a lifetime of financial stability, and encourage the entrepreneurship and risk-taking which is the basis of a healthy economy. Financial education is a must, not an afterthought.

In 1957, a Russian immigrant published a novel of more than a thousand pages built around one question: what happens if the people who make the world run simply stop? Its title is Atlas Shrugged. In France it's called La Grève, The Strike. It wasn't even translated into French until 2011. That tells you something. This morning, I think Elon Musk wrote the sequel. A. Where the book comes from. Ayn Rand was born Alisa Rosenbaum in Saint Petersburg in 1905. As a teenager, she watched Bolshevik soldiers walk into her father's pharmacy and seize it in the name of the people. Her family lost everything. Not to a competitor. To a committee. She fled to America in 1926 and spent the rest of her life writing about one distinction: those who create, and those who seize. B. The story. In Atlas Shrugged, America is sliding into decline. Not because of war. Because of rules. Year after year, a growing class of bureaucrats, regulators and planners decides that production must be controlled, shared "fairly," frozen. They never build anything. They issue directives. The worst one freezes every worker in his job and forces every inventor to hand over his patents for the public good. And one by one, the people who make the country run start disappearing. The best engineers. The industrialists. The inventors. An oil man sets his own wells on fire before vanishing. The whole country keeps repeating a question it doesn't understand: "Who is John Galt?" John Galt is the man behind the disappearances. He has convinced the creators to go on strike. They withdraw to a hidden valley in the Colorado mountains, where everyone keeps what they make and trades freely. And they let the world find out what it looks like without them. The lights go out in New York. The grey men are left alone with their directives, and discover that a directive has never produced a single kilowatt. C. The core idea. The strike isn't about money. It's about consent. Rand's insight is that the system that captures the creators runs on their cooperation. It needs them to keep producing so it has something to redistribute. The bureaucrat is a parasite who needs a host. Remove the host, and he's exposed as what he always was: useless. D. What Musk just did. This morning, Musk announced that next year he will give one of his own SpaceX shares to every kid in America. "The first of many." Here's what's fascinating. It's the strike, run in reverse. Rand's creators withdrew. Musk stays. He keeps building rockets, satellites, AI. But instead of walking away from the system, he walks around it. The value goes straight from the builder to the citizen. No ministry, no agency, no committee in the middle. Rand had to make the creators disappear to prove the bureaucrats were useless. Musk doesn't need to disappear. He just needs to stop routing value through them. Same result. The grey men are left standing in the middle of a pipe nobody uses anymore. E. The difference that changes everything. Rand's strike has a flaw her critics never stopped pointing out: ordinary people are left behind. The creators retreat to their valley. The rest of the country sits in the dark. Musk's version fixes that. He isn't taking the creators out of the world. He's bringing the world into the valley. Every kid in America becomes a shareholder in the machine. Not a spectator of the strike. A participant. That's the alliance being formed right now: builders and citizens, directly, with nothing in between. And the only people who lose that deal are the ones who never built anything. F. Why now, and not in 1957. In Rand's time, the strike was a fantasy. You couldn't produce at scale without the state's permission, and you couldn't reach every citizen without its pipes. In 2026, one founder can build rockets, run a global network from orbit, and pledge equity to 73 million children in a single post. AI will soon do in seconds what a ministry does in years. The tools of the strike finally exist. And they don't require anyone to leave. G. The ending. For seventy years, "Who is John Galt?" was a shrug. A way of saying nothing can be done. In the book, the strike ends when the creators decide the road is clear and walk back into the world to rebuild it. That's the scene we're watching. Not a man leaving. A man coming back, with a gift for every child. The grey men are about to discover what Rand promised them seventy years ago: a world that no longer needs them.
I don't know if you realize what just happened. Elon Musk is completely bypassing the State. For 100 years, we've been told the problem is capital. That it must be captured, taxed, redistributed. With an army of intermediaries standing between those who create wealth and the people: ministries, agencies, commissions, bureaucrats. Musk is doing the opposite. He's taking his capital and giving it directly to the people. One SpaceX share to every kid in America. Not a handout. Not a subsidy. A piece of the machine that's taking humanity to Mars. And he says it himself: this is the first of many. Mises understood this back in 1944: the bureaucrat creates nothing. He administers what others created, following rules that have no connection to the value produced. The day value flows directly from the one who creates it to the one who receives it, the bureaucrat has no function left. That's what's being born right now. A new liberal world order, where the very concept of the State will make less and less sense. The world we're entering is a world of abundance. AI, robots, energy, space. And that abundance won't come through the State, for one simple reason: we have a century of proof that it doesn't work. Redistribution was version 1.0. Direct distribution of capital is 2.0. While France is still debating how to tax builders even more, America is handing stock to its kids. Pick your side.

My guess is less than 1% of legacy media has the knowledge base on which such a question and follow-up could be based, much less the courage and skill to pose them. Bravo to Professor @JodiGHunt. The almost relentless winnowing of Judeo-Christian orthodoxy from the news business over four decades has left it incapable of understanding much less including such viewpoints in their collective political coverage. Grateful and surprised that @CNN allowed the professor her time at the microphone to demonstrate why a traditional Christian voter would prefer AG Paxton over Mr. Talarico despite having strongly supported Senator @JohnCornyn in the primary.
