What a journey it has been! From the long hours of putting in work, to the long flights across the country to play in tournaments, it has truly been a journey.   First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me and making it possible for me to do what I love. Next, I want to thank my parents. Not only have they been there for me, guiding me in the right direction, but they have been the biggest support system on this ride. I am so blessed and grateful to have such an uplifting group of people around me.   To my Dad – I just want to say. "THANK YOU!" There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for you.  From putting a bat in my hands for the very first time, to traveling from one state to the next for training, games and workouts, you have been by my side every step of the way. I can’t begin to describe how much of an impact you have made on my life.  Now, all of the time we’ve spent talking, working, and preparing is paying off and you can finally take a little time to relax.  You have always encouraged me and believed in me, even when I doubted myself.  You knew that I have what it takes to be someone special, and I will forever be thankful for that.  I had a goal that I wanted to achieve, and you have done everything within your power to help me reach it. We’re not done yet. To my Mom – I want to thank you for always keeping me on a straight and narrow path.  You have always told me that nothing is more important to you than the safety and well-being of me and my brother.  I will forever be thankful for you because you have always been someone that I can talk to about anything; from girls, to school, baseball or anything.  No matter the scenario, you’ve always been there. You are such a strong and extraordinary person, and you’ve taught me strength and resilience.   Although I was young, seeing you go through battles with health issues, was one of the toughest times for our family.  Just seeing you battle through with such strength showed me that I can be strong and battle through anything just like you.  You are incredible and I’m so blessed to call you Mom.   To my big brother – I am forever grateful to have you to look up to and to learn valuable lessons about baseball, growth and being responsible.     To my coaches, trainers, and everyone who has helped me thus far, I want to say thank you. Thank you for sacrificing your time away from family, and for sharing your knowledge and wisdom to prepare me for the next level.  Thank you to Coach Ramsey, Coach Schulman, and the Georgia Tech staff for believing in me and affording me this opportunity.
