This October was the 2nd wettest with 1.31 and Oct 2005 the wettest at 1.45. Similar to last year. The summers very dry but rain ramps up in Oct and Nov. Let’s hope it doesn’t go dry in Jan onwards like last winter. Jan-Sep 2026 all below normal rain although Sep was close.

🌧️ October 2026 ended with 1.31 inches of rainfall for Las Vegas! 🏆 This puts October 2026 in 2nd place for Wettest October on Record. 🎯 The standing record is October 2005 with 1.45 inches. #VegasWxRecords
Rain Update! 📡 | 11:30pm PDT It's raining at our office AND at @LASairport. So far, Harry Reid Airport has observed 0.04 inches of rainfall tonight. 🌧️☔️ Can we get another 0.19 inches before 1 AM (12 AM PST) to tie the all-time wettest October on record for Las Vegas?

Why does the Flamingo bus going eastbound take the bridge that crosses Koval and other times it doesn’t. Seems like they can run the bus anyway they want with no accountability or answers from the bus company. Are they above reproach?

We picked up .03 at Reid with a clap of thunder at about 5am. So rain total this month so far 1.22.

Rain total so far this month 1.19 well above normal and will add possibly some more. Sunday is 1 Nov and rain looks fairly promising that day. How much we get between now and then yet to be determined.

Month to date we are 2.9 above normal and will finish very close to that. Not a record warm Oct but still significantly above. Probably a top 10 warm. So since last Nov the coolest month was April but still 1.3 above average. Are we capable of having a below normal month?

McDonald’s charges not for the water but for the cup. How cheap and tacky. Will they pull that crap in summer?? So I guess always carry a container just in case.

So far not a stinking drop of rain from this very dynamic system. Yea it’s not over but absolutely unbelievable we could have this strong of a system and not a drop. Good luck with this El Niño. It’ll probably rain more next monsoon season than the meteorological winter.

I turned off the alerts on my phone. If I hear one more alert for Mohave county the most talked about county in the southwest I’m going to throw my phone across the room. Enough!!!!!! It’s not that I don’t care about Mohave county but sick of constantly hearing about it.

It took the bus 12 minutes to go from Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo to Tropicana. The entire detour took 28 minutes to get back to Flamingo and Paradise. Normally it’s about 10-12 minutes from Flamingo and the strip to Paradise. So it definitely add time. It’ll be worse on Fri.

First year in 2023 during the detour the only stop was Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd. Made things quicker slightly.

And turn down Harmon then over as it be less time on Las Vegas Blvd as it’s bumper to bumper. . This F1 absolutely positively the single most disruptive event in the history of Vegas. Yet the city is tone deaf.
87
Any reason why the flamingo bus when it’s being detoured onto the strip is wasting more time by picking up passengers as the Flamingo bus doesn’t go down the strip. . At the most one stop at Tropicana and Las Vegas blvd on the detour.

So basically in the last 2 1/2 years it’s been feast or famine for rain. 3 of the 4 months that were above normal had more than an inch and the one had .99 . Most of the months less than 50% of normal.
