Suarez and Oblak are two players which are underperforming, and are getting abuse from the fanbase. If you can’t keep supporting them at their worst, you don’t deserve them at their best. Never scapegoat these two monsters. Two of the biggest reasons we won La Liga 🏆

#ClubUria

Atletico Madrid are straight up refusing to accept the reality.

It’s gonna take way more than an apology and two goals to change my stance on him after the summer he put us through. At least this is a start, but if he wants redemption, he needs to deliver much much more.

He was on track to having a much better record before he decided to trust the words of a conman and ruin his own mental and relationship with the fans.

Hjulmand had a rougher start to the season than I would have hoped, but he's also proven himself that he deserves to play. Still think that what we've seen with Cardoso - Barrios is the starting partnership we should be fielding in most scenarios.

🇩🇰 𝐇𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃 Sin Koke. Sin Johnny Cardoso. 𝐂𝐎𝐍 Morten Hjulmand. Líder del Atleti: 🥇 1º en acciones con balón (107) 🥇 1º en pases totales (90) 🥇 1º en remates totales (3) 🥇 1º en recuperaciones (7) 🥇 1º en despejes (4)

Cardoso back means we will probably see his partnership with Barrios dominate once again. I am not sure about how Stuttgart play, so we might also see Cholo give Hjulmand another starting opportunity. And with Alvarez's play, he might also start as well.

I see a lot of fuss over Pubill's contract, as if we all expected him to explode into a world class player when we signed him two years ago. He deserves a contract which makes him feel appreciated at the club and reflects the growth he went through. Protect your best players.

Pubill, Barrios & Baena are the pieces you build a project around for the long term.

Considering how bad Woltemade's start to the season has been, I wouldn't count it out. I don't see a world where Sorloth benches both JD and Alvarez. And with Simeone giving a lot of continuity to Baena, Kang-In and Lookman, I doubt he will get much playing time.

🚨💣 ÚLTIMA HORA: A la espera de más confirmaciones. Luciano Spalletti sigue queriendo a Alexander Sørloth, y en el mercado de invierno, la Juventus, podría volver a la carga a por el jugador noruego. @tuttosport

And I would much rather see an effort made to strengthen the bench than to sign a number 9. Only way I see that we can upgrade the striker position is if Alvarez leaves so that we can afford a big name.

Yesterday's match made it very clear to many of us that JD should be the starting striker, he makes things happen. We currently have two forwards struggling with confidence, and if I were Cholo, I wouldn't have both of them on the pitch at the same time. Start building up Mola.

Tonight, before kick-off against Manchester United, a minute’s silence will be observed in memory of Ana Merodio Borja, the mother of our captain, Koke, and Borja Resurrección, assistant coach of our Juvenil A team, who passed away this morning in Madrid. Our deepest condolences go out to all family and friends. May she rest in peace.
