The Marquette poll just came out, and it’s awful for Republicans. I’ll unpack it more later. The only hope for the Republican tickets is that the poll is terribly wrong (it has been before) and/or that it doesn’t capture a turnout factor that’s flying beneath the radar. These races will be decided by turnout, not polling. This pollster had Fran Hong winning the primary by a huge margin (although it also registered a large number of undecideds), and it predicted Hillary would win by 6 in 2016.

Apparently buffoonish radio clown “Regular Joe” was ranting about my 17 year old sex life on the air, and accusing me of not pushing Mike Alfonso. I heard this from a female listener who was appalled and said it was over-the-top, crazy and sexist. She said he called me a sexist name. Sheesh, you guys really need a new topic. These guys are so gross. 🤮 They make me want to take a shower. They act like I’m the only person who has had sex in the last 17 years and, frankly, it’s collectively getting creepy enough to feel a bit like I have stalkers. Why are Republican men so obsessed with my sex life? Major creep factor. Seriously gross behavior. And the only thing that they know about my sex life anyway is a liberal media hit piece that contained blatant lies about me. There was so much more to that story. Meanwhile, the new Marquette poll is awful for Republicans. Until the GOP stops allowing buffoons like this guy to dominate its discourse, the party will keep losing voters and, especially, women. It’s blatant misogyny. But it won’t stop me from having a voice in the public square. Bullies like this one don’t deter me even if they have a microphone. I will be waiting for his segment on all of the male Republicans and conservatives who have had affairs in the past 17 years. Start with the president and work your way down to the local level. It would take you all day. Maybe he can rant and rave like a crazy man about the GOP leader who brings his much younger gay lover to events and parades him around next. He won’t because they’re men. Also: I have no obligation to boost Michael Alfonso’s campaign. I’m a columnist. All I said anyway is that, if I lived in that district, I would personally leave that race blank because I could not enable the swampy lobbyist money trail and name calling with my vote. That came after an Alfonso supporter called former Marine Kevin Hermening a crybaby and loser. And a bunch of Republican men (and one grifting female) are absolutely flipping out about it. Let me repeat: I have no obligation to boost or push Michael Alfonso. And guess what guys? You can stop freaking out. He’s going to win handily. Frankly, every time one of these ragingly sexist clowns calls me names or pervertedly digs into my private sex life, it reinforces my position. Not only is Alfonso’s campaign the swampiest in state history (for the least qualified candidate ever), but he’s supported by some of the biggest buffoons and bad actors in state politics today. Will Joe Handrick tell Regular Joe to “please stop” or nah? We all know the answer to that. Just gross.
