A few hours ago #NEAR Testnet went through the first unattended dynamic resharding splitting shard 3 into two halves. A nice side effect is that state sync now takes half the time. Next stop: Mainnet. Keep shipping @NEARProtocol
Shard 3 was the largest one, so anyone syncing their node from scratch needed to get 2356 parts for the state sync and you can only apply these sequentially. New shards now require 1179 parts each. Perfect automated split!

π We just wrapped up our second Near Legion event in Moscow yesterday
This one was noticeably more advanced than the first
In addition to the intro explaining AI Agent deployment frameworks, comparing OpenClaw vs IronClaw, breaking down IronClawβs five core principles + TEE, Near Agent Market, and Composio, we also showed how to set up IronClaw both in the cloud and locally
π«£ Iβll be honest - local installation can still be tricky, but the participants managed to learn the exact sequence of steps
In the middle of the event, we also had a speaker from @Mantle_Official join us
He gave a quick overview of their network and their upcoming hackathon for vibe coders, with prizes reaching up to $100,000
βοΈ By the end of the event, we even managed to finalize several cool projects. Someone built a 3D game with a cat, someone made an angry cat clicker with an in-game shop, someone created a weather comparison website for different cities, and another put together a site with multiple games and fast-paced quizzes
βΉοΈThere were a lot of ideas, and I really hope the momentum continues on our future workshops. So stay tuned, more coming soon!

and for those of you who are shilling zec and near, I wonder how many of you have used near.com and zodl wallet to buy and self-custody the coins privately (instead of cex). i had some extensive convo with @zooko on this two weeks ago
here are some tips:
- use near confidential swaps
- withdraw to zodl wallet and actually use the rotating shielded addresses (instead of the transparent address even if it is more convenient)
- if you make regular transactions, and want to be extra private, do it across irregular timestamps and amounts
