This Friday marks ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€ since my first Purdue Football football game. I was a 6 year old attending with by Grandfather, Ora Callahan, a 1951 Boilermaker alum. Over these decades I've been blessed to experience Purdue Football as: โ€ข a fan โ€ข a football student athlete โ€ข an alumni โ€ข a parent of football student athlete! Saturday the 7th will be homecoming and I'll get the joy of returning as a football alum and the parent of player on the team (4th Generation Boiler). It will be a special day for sure! Our family history at Purdue began in 1947 and includes my Grandfather, mother, aunt, uncle, wife and now our son. My first game was in the year of our nations bicentennial celebration and we knocked off #1 Michigan in dramatic fashion (see below). As I grew up I loved the fact that this tradition made gameday bigger than just Purdue. It celebrated gratefulness for the nation we call home, because we don't choose the place of our birth. ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—จ๐—ฅ๐——๐—จ๐—˜ ๐—ข๐—ฉ๐—˜๐—ฅ ๐— ๐—œ๐—–๐—›๐—œ๐—š๐—”๐—ก (#1) | ๐—ก๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฒ๐—ง๐—› , ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿต๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฒ After Michigan took a 14โ€“13 lead in the third quarter on a 65-yard touchdown pass from Rick Leach to Jim Smith, Purdue's defense and special teams clamped down. Co-captain Blane Smith recovered a crucial Michigan fumble at the Purdue 29-yard line in the 4th quarter, setting up a drive that resulted in a game-winning 23-yard field goal by Rock Supan with 4:20 remaining. Michigan threatened late, but a final-seconds field goal attempt missed wide, sealing the upset in front of 57,205 fans.
Roy Johnson recited โ€œI Am an Americanโ€ at @BoilerFootball games for 43 years. The tradition was born in 1966 at a Lafayette diner, where band director Al G. Wright was inspired by patriotic verses printed on a placemat. Wright wrote his own lines, and the rest is history.

Love this quote. LIVE LIFE! But take moments to look back and ponder Godโ€™s provision and providence. I often see Rom.8:28โ€ฆ โ€œAnd we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.โ€
โ€œLife can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.โ€ - Sรธren Kierkegaard Sรธren Kierkegaard (1813โ€“1855) was a Danish philosopher, theologian, and author widely recognized as a pioneer of existentialist thought. His writings examined the complexities of human existence, focusing on personal identity, faith, freedom, anxiety, and the choices that shape our lives. He believed that discovering oneโ€™s true self requires deep introspection, personal accountability, and the courage to make independent decisions. Kierkegaard viewed anxiety as a natural consequence of human freedom, arising from the endless possibilities and responsibilities that come with making choices. He also challenged the limits of rational thinking, arguing that lifeโ€™s most profound commitments, particularly those involving faith, often extend beyond what logic alone can explain. His philosophical insights continue to shape modern psychology, literature, philosophy, and our understanding of what it means to live an authentic and meaningful life.

Her own husband secretly poisoned her with abortion drugs in an attempt to kill their unborn daughter. By the grace of God, Catherine and her baby survived. After discovering what he had done, she took progesterone, which she credits with helping save her daughter's life. Now, she courageously shares her testimony, exposing the dangers of coerced abortions and fighting to protect other women and their unborn children. Our final Life Awardee, Catherine Pressly Herring!

I do not want this as a non-travel. Itโ€™s fine if they donโ€™t change it. I just wonโ€™t watch.
Listen man, I get this is a gather dribble and not a travel according to the rules. But is this really what we want our basketball to look like? My vote doesnโ€™t matter, but I vote no๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Walmart is still shorting their 5 pound bags of potatoes, and itโ€™s very clearly intentional Not one, not two, but EVERY BAG you pick up and put on the scale is a pound or so short One or two is a mistake, every bag is intentional. At this point I am absolutely convinced this is a business strategy because by shorting products this adds up to hundreds of millions of dollars in extra profits When they do get fined, the fine is no where near the amount they stole Walmart has a pattern of doing this There was a $45 million class-action settlement in 2024 against Walmart that settled over claims it inflated weights on sold by weight goods like meat, poultry, pork and seafood Walmart was also caught doing this and fined in California and New Jersey. The fines were very small, under $1.6 million and $5.5 million When the punishment for a crime is a fine, then itโ€™s just the cost of doing business. Itโ€™s a business model ALWAYS weigh your foods

๐Ÿšจ FLORIDA PRESCHOOL TEACHER ARRESTED AFTER DRAGGING CHILD ACROSS CONCRETE, GRABBING HIM BY THE NECK AND SHOVING HIS FACE INTO A FENCE ST. CLOUD, FLORIDA - A preschool teacher at St. Cloud Elementary School, Kathryn Garcia, was arrested after investigators reviewed disturbing allegations of physical abuse involving a young child. And according to police, THE INCIDENT WAS CAPTURED ON SCHOOL SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. According to the police report, Garcia: ๐Ÿ”ด Dragged the child across concrete by his arm. ๐Ÿ”ด Kicked at the childโ€™s legs. ๐Ÿ”ด Grabbed the child around his neck and lifted him. ๐Ÿ”ด Shoved the childโ€™s face into a chain-link fence. ๐Ÿ”ด Appeared to strike the child in his upper torso. Two other teachers reportedly witnessed the incident. The Florida Department of Children and Families reportedly initially accepted a report concerning the incident before later determining that it did not meet the agencyโ€™s criteria for involvement. According to reports, school administrators preserved the surveillance footage, and investigators sought to obtain it as evidence. As of now, I have not located a publicly released copy of that footage. I have sent an ORR requesting all info on this case including footage if they will release it (doubtful)

Elections have consequences. Policies have logical conclusions. This is truly sad and avoidable.
To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad: Do not blame the French people for this. We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no. Here are the numbers your media won't show you. 70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today. 79% want a tougher immigration policy. 77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration. 83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home. And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years. This is not a fringe. This is the French people. In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again. That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway. So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations. In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders. It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed. What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it. The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did. So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this." The French never chose this. They were forced into it. If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us. If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.

In what world is this not a catch? He catches it, takes multiple steps, then has a knee down (play should be over), then touches out of bounds (play should be over again), then loses the ball. Purdue just got absolutely hosed.

Itโ€™s hard to believe @nike still wonโ€™t stand up for girls. They just wonโ€™t do it.
On Sept 26, a young man placed 2nd in the women's category at the Nike Portland XC Invitational. Now Nike is hosting an "After Dark" run for women that allows men to run in it. The point of the run is for women to feel safe running at night. Safe from men. @Nike why won't you stand with women?
