School isn’t the only valid ed route. We home educated our eldest, who successfully completed an American HS Diploma remotely here in the UK & has now been accepted into a Scottish college with an unconditional offer. More parents should know about alternatives

It’s been a whirlwind the last few months- travelling for work, finally buying our own home (upgrading from renting). Now my eldest has been accepted for an unconditional place at college after summer too. Some good, others bad. I Hope X has been behaving while I’ve been away!

Sleeping on Rannoch Moor at Corrour (Scotland’s highest and most remote train station) is quite something. Video shows the last train slipping away into the night, leaving only darkness and silence where we sat.
