Our nursery pupils enjoyed their first school lunch together in the hall today. It was wonderful to see them demonstrating such independence, confidence and growing self reliance. A proud moment and a lovely milestone for our pupils.

A huge well done to all our Nursery children for taking part in Sports Day! The children showed fantastic enthusiasm, determination and teamwork throughout the morning, and coped exceptionally well in the hit weather. We are so proud of each and every one of them.
Reception have been learning the difference between longer and taller. We measured our height and ordered each other from tallest to shortest!
Reception have been learning about cold and snowy tundra. Today they used their cutting skills to make snowflakes ❄️
Reception absolutely loved our Maths lesson today. We had a competition to see who could make the longest structure within 5 minutes. The competition was fierce, but the small chain won!
To celebrate the start of Wimbledon, this afternoon Reception enjoyed strawberries and cream as a special snack whilst watching some tennis 🎾 🍓
Our Nursery had a wonderful real life experience visiting Scooperb after role-playing in their own ice cream shop in class! 🍦 Along the way, we spotted different local shops and practised important road safety skills. A fantastic day of learning beyond the classroom! ✨

Reception are creating snowy, icy tundra scenes and ice fishing in exploration of our new habitat: tundras. We are immersing ourselves in all things Arctic.
Our new topic of icy tundras has seen the children of Reception keen to write ✍️ about the animals found in the Arctic.
