M4 iPad Pro: has 12GB RAM, but Apple’s artificially locked it to 8GB iPad mini 8: has a 120Hz display, but Apple’s artificially locked it to 60Hz i don’t care if it’s LTPS or LTPO, they should let the user decide the refresh rate Apple can’t keep getting away with this. They already gatekeep a ton of software features for no valid reason, and now they’re locking down hardware too?

Gotta say I’m very disappointed in how some apps feel like the designers didn’t watch or read any developer sessions for the iPhone Duo Why does the Rivian app have primary content on the left side? Why is there a black bar?

I was looking back through the year 2 showcase stuff and I think drills not only got a major buff but also supposedly give you I-frames once you exit out of it as the green glove thrown did no damage from what I saw. I hope this is the same for laser and monster truck too!

Ran the numbers with Shock probabilities in Mario Kart World, including boosted rolls and when 3 bills/5 megas are in play. Boosted Rolls are when you hit the item set with an item in your inventory, thus removing it from the item pool and boosting your odds of other items.

a game having a higher barrier to entry is a valid complaint against it. a game can still be complex/hard but be friendly to beginners. of course, not every game needs to be beginner friendly, but id say this is a valid criticism of a Crash game (the karter’s 2 does this better)

So this is why the close network test on ps5 had raytracing and other UE5 stuff, but the final version didn't because they would need to account for loading times and stuttering across everything from switch 1 to pc too I presume lol
