Richard “Demo Dick” Marcinko served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1989, including two tours in Vietnam as a SEAL. He earned the Silver Star, four Bronze Stars, and other decorations for his service.
In 1980, Marcinko became the first commanding officer of SEAL Team Six. He later led Red Cell, a unit that tested security at U.S. military installations through simulated attacks. After retiring as a commander, he shared his story in the bestselling autobiography Rogue Warrior and co-wrote a series of military thrillers.
His career left a lasting mark on Naval Special Warfare. 🇺🇸

Here is the jerk who spray-painted the 9/11 Memorial.
On Monday, October 26, 2026, 31-year-old Jonathan Andrew Tijerina spray-painted red across the engraved names on the North Tower reflecting pool’s bronze panels. He filmed it, posted the video, and was arrested shortly afterward for criminal mischief and making graffiti. Damage was estimated at over $2,500; the paint was quickly removed with no permanent damage.
He has yet to be sentenced, but I hope he gets the maximum allowed. 😡

I'm a combat veteran who fought for this country for two decades.
Deployed seven times, five times to Iraq, once to Afghanistan, was awarded six combat awards, three for valor.
Have lost more friends downrange than I can count on both hands.

Quarterback Alex Smith says his life was completely changed by his experience in rehab with servicemen and women who lost limbs overseas.
Smith says he was bitter about life after suffering a grotesque leg injury.
It wasn't until he rehabbed with military amputees that his mindset completely changed.
"I was very bitter for a long time in my rehab process."
"I got this thing called the Secretary of Defense designation... I got access to military medical care."
Smith says when he looked around at all the servicemen and women who had severe injuries, his outlook completely changed.
"There's like double amputees, there's triple amputees, there's terrible burn victims in there. And nobody's hiding behind their scars."

No crash, no collision. The driver says it just caught fire going down the road. Then I-880 got shut down in both directions because of toxic battery smoke, and the southbound side stayed closed about 10 hours.
Remember that 2024 Tesla Semi fire on I-80? 50,000 gallons of water, an airplane dropping retardant, and the battery hit about 1,000 degrees.
I'm not against new technology. But when a truck can catch fire on its own and close an interstate for half a day, maybe they ought to work that out before they put it on the road next to me. Diesel's been doing this job a long time. 😏🚛

🚨🇪🇸 UPDATE: Absolutely heartbreaking scenes coming out of Spain right now...
At least 64 people are reported dead after two high-speed trains collided near Toledo, with more than 500 passengers on board.
At least 80 people are injured, 50 of them "seriously."
Staff from the rail operator are said to be leaving the scene distraught and in tears...
The cause is still under investigation, and the death toll could still, sadly, be rising.
