1/ Introducing Rtree MCP: an AI investment advisor for on-chain real-world assets, delivered through the Model Context Protocol. Connect it to any MCP-compatible assistant, and your AI can monitor your Rtree positions, track the assets behind them, and recommend products matched to your risk profile. 🧵 2/ Risk profiling Onboarding starts with a structured suitability assessment: investment objectives, time horizon, liquidity needs, loss tolerance and concentration limits. Profiles are versioned and reassessed periodically, and every recommendation references the profile it was made against. 3/ Project monitoring For every product you hold, Rtree MCP tracks: • Collateral status: appraisal, custody, insurance coverage • Loan-to-value and valuation changes • Repayment schedule and payment status • On-chain activity: supply, transfers, contract events Material changes trigger alerts directly in your AI assistant. 4/ Portfolio management A consolidated view of your holdings: exposure by asset type, maturity ladder, borrower and collateral concentration, expected cash flows and redemption dates. Ask in plain language: "What matures next quarter?" "Where am I most concentrated?" 5/ Suitability-matched recommendations When new offerings open, or your portfolio drifts from your profile, Rtree MCP proposes actions with the reasoning attached: why a product fits your profile, its key risks, and the data it relied on. Products outside your profile are flagged, with the reason. 6/ Verifiable by design Every data point behind a recommendation links to its source: on-chain records, collateral documents and their hashes, repayment history. You can audit the advice line by line. 7/ You stay in control Rtree MCP never holds private keys. Any transaction it proposes executes only after you confirm it in your own wallet or on rtreefinance.com. 8/ Rollout: 2026/11/7. 🌳 Advisory features are available only where permitted and subject to regulatory approval. Recommendations are not a guarantee of returns. Capital at risk.

Something we've started building: a way for your AI to look things up on Rtree directly. What's backing a loan, the paperwork on the object, the on-chain records, the repayment history. You ask, it goes and checks the source. Details Monday. 🌳

A lot of people now vet a project by pasting the whitepaper into an AI and asking it to poke holes. The catch: the AI only reads what you hand it. The whitepaper was written by the project. So was the website, and the FAQ. However careful the AI is, it's reading the version the project chose to show you. Last October Securitize shipped an MCP server so AI agents can pull tokenized-asset data directly. More of these have appeared this year; CryptoQuant has one for on-chain metrics. More and more, an AI checking a project will go to the source records. Which projects are willing to plug their source into it will say something on its own.

The Changing Tide of On-Chain Investment: From "Asset Tokenization" to "Tool Tokenization" Over the past few months, the on-chain investment landscape has undergone a quiet but profound transformation. Macro headwinds, redefined trading boundaries, and product innovation are converging to point toward the next phase of RWA: the on-chainization of structured products and derivatives. I. Macro Headwinds: The Dual Squeeze of AI Capital Absorption and Soaring Treasury Yields The current investment environment is far from easy. The capital absorption effect of the AI sector is reshaping global capital flows—global AI financing exceeded $350 billion in the first half of 2026 alone, with capital increasingly concentrating in top-tier players. In China alone, the embodied intelligence sector added 19 new unicorns valued over $10 billion in H1 2026. More critically, the massive financing needs of AI companies are crowding out the Treasury market: as of July 2026, six hyperscalers—Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Oracle, Nvidia, and SpaceX—had issued approximately $244 billion in bonds globally, more than double the $108 billion issued in all of 2025. Meanwhile, U.S. Treasury yields remain elevated. On August 18, the 30-year yield surged to 5.33%, its highest level since 2007; the 10-year yield also climbed above 4.7%, reaching an 18-month high. What does this mean? Risk-free rates are high, raising the cost of capital for risk assets; massive AI bond issuance is further pushing up overall financing costs. On-chain investors are becoming more discerning about yield sources—the simple "high yield" narrative is no longer enough. Yields must be backed by real underlying assets. A balanced view: Macro pressures have indeed tightened risk appetite, but this very environment is forcing the RWA sector to move from "storytelling" to "asset validation"—only projects with genuine cash flows and real asset backing can weather the cycle. II. Blurring Boundaries: On-Chain Is Growing "Traditional Finance" Muscles One of the most notable trends of 2026 is the blurring line between on-chain trading platforms and traditional brokerages. On June 1, Binance officially launched U.S. stock trading services, allowing eligible users to trade equities using cryptocurrency from a single account. It subsequently rolled out bStocks, tokenized securities products featuring Circle, Micron, Nvidia, and Tesla. To date, Binance supports over 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. Even more symbolic is the rise of Pre-IPO contracts. In May, Binance launched the SPCXUSDT perpetual contract for SpaceX's pre-IPO valuation, giving retail investors exposure before the company's Nasdaq debut. Ahead of Unitree's Shanghai IPO in August, platforms like Hyperliquid had already listed Pre-IPO perpetual contracts, with pre-market prices trading at multiples of the offering price. Meanwhile, traditional finance incumbents are moving on-chain. In July, Ondo Finance launched DTCC-backed tokenized stocks, debuting with Circle shares and the SPY ETF; it had already listed over 430 tokenized stocks on Uniswap in June. Robinhood launched its own L2 blockchain, Robinhood Chain, in July, featuring 190 tokenized U.S. stocks with 24/7 trading across 120 countries. Co-founder Vlad Tenev stated the vision is to increase U.S. stock ownership from ~50% to over 95% through tokenization. A balanced view: On-chain advantages lie in 24/7 accessibility, global reach, and low barriers; traditional brokerages excel in regulatory frameworks and investor protection. The two are not substitutes but are converging—Ondo leverages DTCC, Robinhood builds its own compliant chain, and Binance operates within regulatory boundaries. Which model is "right" remains debatable, but one fact is clear: stocks and stock-linked tokens are now available on-chain. III. Next Stop: Derivatives and Structured Products Go On-Chain Once the tokenization of underlying assets (stocks, bonds, ETFs) becomes table stakes, the logical next step is clear: derivatives and structured products on-chain. In traditional finance, structured products—such as equity-linked notes, credit-linked notes, CLOs, and others—are typically available only to accredited investors. High minimums, complex terms, and lack of transparency keep them out of reach for ordinary investors. On-chain characteristics—automated smart contract execution, publicly verifiable data, and global liquidity—can break down these barriers. This trend is already emerging. Institutional-grade RWA is being integrated into on-chain structured digital credit—Ondo ($3.6B+ AUM) provides institutional-grade tokenized assets, while Saturn Credit handles structured design. Securitize has expanded its tokenized CLO fund to Solana, securing a $250 million allocation from Ethena Labs. Industry research clearly states: the first half of RWA was about proving assets can be tokenized, registered, and held on-chain; the second half is about proving these assets can be collateralized, generate secondary liquidity, enter lending markets, serve as stablecoin reserves, and be used in repo and structured products. What does this mean? Structured products once reserved for professional investors are being democratized on-chain. Ordinary investors will gain access to yield-enhancement tools, hedging instruments, and diversified asset allocation strategies that were previously out of reach. This is not merely "asset tokenization"—it is "tool tokenization" and "strategy tokenization." Conclusion: The Next Form of RWA From asset validation under macro pressure, to the dissolution of trading boundaries, to the on-chain migration of structured tools—the RWA sector is evolving from Phase 1.0 ("putting assets on-chain") to Phase 2.0 ("putting financial tools on-chain"). For Rtree Finance, this presents both challenges and opportunities. Compliance is the baseline, asset quality is the lifeline, and product innovation—the ability to bring high-quality structured products from traditional finance on-chain in a compliant and transparent manner—will be the key differentiator in the next phase of competition. The future of on-chain investing is not about replacing traditional finance—it's about making finance more accessible, more transparent, and more efficient. #RWA #derivatives

Recent progress in AI agent payments is starting to raise a new question: If AI agents are beginning to enter payment flows, could they eventually enter investment flows as well? Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase and Circle are all exploring payment and wallet infrastructure designed for AI agents. These products are still early, but the direction is becoming clearer: agents are moving from information-processing tools to execution layers inside financial transaction flows. RWA investing, however, is not the same as ordinary consumer payments. RWA platforms usually involve KYC / KYB, investor suitability checks, asset whitelists, subscription and redemption rules, and full compliance audit records. An AI agent is usually not an independent legal person, and should not be treated as the party responsible for investment decisions. So the more likely model is not “the agent becomes the investor.” It is an individual or company completing KYC / KYB first, becoming an eligible platform user, and then authorizing the agent to execute within clearly defined limits. For example: only approved whitelisted RWA products hard caps on single and total investment size subscription / redemption must follow preset rules high-risk or large transactions trigger human confirmation all onchain / offchain actions remain fully traceable In this model, the agent is not bypassing compliance. It becomes an authorized investment execution layer. For RWA platforms, this could become an important new use case: future users may not need to log in and manually subscribe or redeem every time. They may define an investment strategy first, then let an agent help manage idle capital and allocate into tokenized T-bills, money market funds, or other compliant RWA products. The key question is not whether the agent has a wallet. It is whether RWA platforms can build a compliant, controlled, and auditable Agent Investment Framework. #RWA #AIAgents #TokenizedAssets #Stablecoins

$RTREE points — Season 1 — is live! About 100 days, June 24 to Oct 1. Here's how it actually works. Three ways to earn: 1. Sign up: +50, once. That's it for showing up. Hold assets — the main engine. You earn points every day based on how much you hold, in tiers: • first $10k → 2 pts per $200/day • $10k–50k → 3 pts per $200/day • above $50k → 4 pts per $200/day No daily cap. Hold $20k and you're stacking ~250 points a day. 2. Refer your friends: +20 when someone joins on your link, then 10% of the points they earn each day on top — it doesn't come out of their balance. No cap on invites. 3. Rank bonus: When the season 1 ends, points freeze and get ranked. A bonus pool worth 20% of all points issued is split among the top 200: • #1 takes 10%, #2 takes 6%, #3 takes 4% • #4–50 get 1% each • #51–200 get 0.22% each So the playbook is plain: hold, invite, stay consistent for 100 days, climb the board. Points decide your $RTREE share — that's the only variable. Start → rtreefinance.com (Holding means subscribing to live products, each with its own risk. DYOR.)

Every account is handing you the same list — ETF outflows, hot CPI, a strong dollar, Saylor selling, Mt. Gox moving coins. That's the weather. Here's the machine underneath it. Start with the question the headlines skip: who was actually buying Bitcoin on the way up? Two engines did most of the lifting in 2024–25, and both have flipped into reverse. Engine one — the ETF basis trade. A big chunk of those "institutional inflows" everyone cheered were never a bet on Bitcoin at all. Hedge funds bought the spot ETF and shorted CME futures to pocket the gap between them. Market-neutral. When that gap thins or a better trade shows up, they unwind — sell the ETF, cover the short. CME futures open interest is falling right alongside the ETF redemptions, which is the giveaway. Billions of "demand" was arbitrage, and arbitrage walks the second the math stops paying. Engine two — the treasury-company flywheel. Strategy and its copycats sold stock at a premium to the Bitcoin they held, used the cash to buy more, watched Bitcoin-per-share climb, and ran it back. That loop only creates value above 1x NAV. Strategy's premium has gone from 3–4x in 2024 to roughly an 18% discount today. Under parity, every share they sell shrinks Bitcoin-per-share instead of growing it. The single biggest structural buyer of the whole cycle just got switched off — and Saylor musing about "selling to fund dividends" is exactly what a stalled flywheel sounds like. So what actually went wrong: the rally was financialized. Most of the marginal demand was leverage and arbitrage, and that machinery runs in reverse the moment price, funding, or the premium turns. The macro headlines pulled the trigger. The structure is why it went off this hard. Bitcoin's buyer base quietly changed over two years. When your marginal buyers are a basis trade and a premium-financed treasury, the price ends up moving like the leverage behind it — a very different animal from the "digital gold" it still gets sold as. #BTC

The Ethereum Foundation just had its biggest shake-up yet, and the headlines make it sound scarier than it is. Here's what actually happened this week. They cut ~20% of staff — from 110+ people to under 100 — axed 54 roles, shut down the ZK research lab, and trimmed the budget about 40% for the year. Around the same time, co-executive director Hsiao-Wei Wang stepped down. That puts roughly nine senior people out the door since January. Two days later, five of those former EF researchers launched ETHLabs — a separate nonprofit backed by Joe Lubin, BitMine, and SharpLink, aimed at settlement speed, cross-chain, and pulling institutions in. So is Ethereum in trouble? Lubin says the cuts aren't a crisis. The quieter worry sits underneath: keeping Ethereum's ~10 client teams and core researchers paid runs about $30M a year, and the mechanism that used to cover it just expired. A leaner Foundation won't fully plug that with grants. Clear away the drama and one plain fact is left: a network worth hundreds of billions still leans on a single foundation's payroll to keep its core builders fed. When that foundation tightens its belt, everyone feels it. The thing to watch now is how that funding actually gets solved. That matters more than the new org chart. ref:cryptopolitan.com/ethereum-f… unchainedcrypto.com/ethereum… #Ethereum #ETH
