Djokovic is still better than Sinner and Alcaraz it’s just that his body is now obsolete.
Typical Djokovic win today just insane mental fortitude.
He’s got a realistic path to the ATP finals now but these days you can’t take anything for granted.
Can’t believe Djokovic won that set I was expecting another collapse after that devastating tiebreak.
This is utterly bizarre.
Ferrero on who is the best between Sinner-Alcaraz.
"By numbers, we would have to choose Jannik. But with my heart, I’d choose Carlos.”
Alcaraz, 2 years younger, has 2 more GS than Sinner and leads the h2h.
Sinner has more weeks at #1, ATP Finals and M1000.
Interesting take.
Zverev finally started delivering on some of that potential which I already called a million years ago.
Imagine how many majors he could have won if he wasn’t so mentally fragile.
Djokovic can still beat the best in BO3 but in BO5 his body just falls apart.
His body can hardly hold up in BO3 judging by his body language but that has never told us much.
The difference between this match and the AO is the amount of tennis Djokovic has behind him here.
Just noting left in the tank.
Djokovic beat Sinister at the AO this year I don’t see what the big deal is and at Wimbledon he arguably has a better chance.
That doesn’t guarantee victory of course but it’s easily within the realm of possibility.
If Djokovic brings god mode like he did in the third and beginning of the fourth vs FAA he beats Sinner.
That is still the highest level of tennis possible.
