I’m fine with Laksh playing online games. What I don’t like is passive gaming, sitting still with a keyboard and mouse. We all know what that does.
So I told him, “Play as much as you want, but make it active.”
He came up with a clever solution: he turned our old balance board into a gaming remote. He opened up the base, fitted an ESP32 and a gyroscope inside, and added a rechargeable battery with a USB-C charging port. Then he generated the code, calibrated it and it was ready to play.
Now he gets to game and get a workout at the same time.
Build your own sweat, and it becomes sweet.

🚨The world is fighting over who makes AI chips.
Almost no one is watching who makes the wires that connect them.
India is quietly doing it.
- India's exports of optical fibre and fibre cables rose 158% in April to August 2026, to $483 million (about Rs 4,300 crore)
- The same five months last year brought in only about $187 million
- The US bought $266.7 million of it, more than half
- The second-biggest buyer is China, at $52.4 million
- The commerce ministry says the demand comes from AI data centres, giant buildings full of computers that need super-fast glass cables to talk to each other
AI runs on chips, but the data between them travels through glass, and more and more of that glass is made in India.
Is India's real AI opportunity in the plumbing nobody notices, not the models everybody hypes?

Founded in 2022 and based in Uttarakhand, Planet Mushroom is a homegrown brand cultivating and selling a wide variety of exotic mushrooms, including shiitake, oyster, cordyceps, reishi, lion’s mane, cremini, Portobello, and even gucchi — all grown organically.
Hailing from Pauri Garhwal, co-founder Naveen Patwal, a BTech graduate, always dreamed of building something of his own. In 2007, after experimenting with multiple business ideas, he found his calling in mushroom farming. From 2007 to 2013, he focused on growing button mushrooms, producing around 800–1,000 kg daily and selling them at Delhi’s Azadpur mandi for Rs 100–120 per kg.
Everything changed in 2013 when he met and married Poonam Sharma, a fellow BTech graduate with an MBA from IIT Kharagpur. Poonam was working at SIDBI, handling term loans worth up to Rs 100 crore. In 2014, she left her job to join Naveen full-time in the mushroom business.
With a fresh Rs 12 crore loan, the duo scaled their operations significantly. Between 2016 and 2019, their farm was producing nearly 950 tonnes (9.5 lakh kg) of mushrooms annually, generating revenues between Rs 8.75 crore and Rs 9.5 crore.
In 2020, they pivoted to focus on exotic mushrooms, drawn by their high nutritional value, pricing, and rising demand. Their first step was to procure premium mother cultures to start growing varieties rarely cultivated in India.
By December 2022, they launched Planet Mushroom, a brand focused exclusively on exotic mushrooms. Today, the farm spans 10 acres and produces 100–200 kg daily, catering to customers across India.
From lion’s mane and cordyceps to the rare gucchi mushroom — which they were the first in India to grow commercially — Planet Mushroom has built a strong reputation in the premium mushroom space.
In FY25, the company achieved an impressive milestone: Rs 15 crore in annual revenue.
