It’s up for debate that the Boks have an advantage at the scrum over anyone. They are simply better at getting away with non-legal scrumming. Ox Nche pushing on a 45 degree angle non-stop is now the King of the Acute Angle, the KOTAA. Take that away and let’s see how it goes. Take SuperSport’s control of the cameras away, take away a TV director who incessantly badgers the TMO with one-sided clips, and let’s see how the game goes. The Springboks’ marginal advantages are easily wiped out! These won’t be there for you in 2027! But we will remember what happened here!
