Fun fact: today I raced but about 20 min before, went to get my shoes out of my car. Found out my key fob was dead. Used the key to open it & the alarm + flashers started going off. My car is push to start so I didn’t know how to make it stop.
Spent 10 min googling how to make it stop when fob is dead. Finally figured it out. Raced 25k. Went well. Realized on my cool down the flashers were still on. Battery dead. Race director had to jump my car. So BIG thanks to @twincitytc for a GREAT race and Bill for the jump!

USATF doesn’t appear to be an org seeking to create a system for growth of its athletes unless they are the best and always have been. It’s a struggle to make an income and train at the highest level and I’ve always thought it starts w/ the org that “supports” the sport.
