Helsinki to host 2030 European Athletics Indoor Championships! They were wonderful host to World Champs in 2005, and this will be 4th time that they have hosted @euroathletics champs!
The 2030 European Athletics Championships will be held in Helsinki – the fourth time the Finnish capital has hosted.
Helsinki last held the championships in 2012, as well as both 1971 and 1994 [no city has hosted it on four occasions].
It also played host to the inaugural World Athletics Championships in 1983.
