Attempting to get over my aversion to the 'socials' by actually promoting something I'm doing. A pair of recitals featuring music by @nicomuhly, @RussellPascoe2, and Ian Venables alongside some Finzi and Howells.
@ClaireHabbersh2 works wonders on the piano as my trusty partner.

Our 2024 Ring Cycle has been many years in the making, and seeing it all come together at last feels so special 😍

Deeply grateful to @PRSFoundation for the support through the Composers' Fund. This grant will help us realise two recordings of my music in the coming years- so vital, if the music is to reach even more widely. Huge congrats to fellow composers @JasminRodgman and Stef Conner too

Did you know?
MPs are able to park for free in Westminster, whilst huge numbers of NHS staff will have to pay exorbitant parking costs again thanks to the Government.
Please RT if you think everyone should be aware of this hypocrisy

🚨personal news🚨I’ll be leaving the BBC at the end of May. Newsnight in its current format will end then, so most posts will go. I decided not to apply for other BBC jobs. Working there for 35 yrs has been life defining: an eyewitness to history collaborating with such brilliant colleagues. But it’s time for a change

@will_vann @DulwichChoral loved Snofried by #Sibelius a future performance piece with #SecularRequiem by @RussellPascoe2 😉 – at Camberwell, London
In Snöfrid, Sibelius set to music his own abridged version of a poem by Swedish writer Viktor Rydberg.
Tonight the spoken part is performed by Lesley Manville and has been specially translated & adapted into English by Edward Kemp. The choirs sing the original Swedish.
