They're are a lot of people in Ireland who are familiar with the roads and villages featured in her reports.
Last year, Marwahin was destroyed and partially occupied but still accessible.
Today, it is occupied by Israel, within the illegal Israeli occupation zone across Lebanon’s southern belt.
Recently my colleague and I were waiting to again embed with UNIFIL, this time to enter the new occupation zone and document the destruction to the border villages.
Last month I was notified by UNIFIL that the embeds were on pause because of the dangerous conditions along the border.
Just like Gaza, Israel has imposed a ban on journalists entering the occupied area of Lebanon.
