My elderly neighbour asked me to feed her cat while she was in hospital.
I've been feeding it every evening for two weeks now.
She passed away peacefully in hospital nine days ago.
Her cat died of old age six years before she went into hospital. 🧵

This both breaks my heart and fills me with joy.
Four very good people on a long, rare voyage together.
A fine example to us all.

We're going around the Moon. Come watch with us. Artemis II's four-astronaut crew is lifting off from @NASAKennedy on an approximately 10-day mission that will bring us closer to living on the Moon and Mars. The launch window opens at 6:24pm ET (2224 UTC). xitter.gq/i/broadcasts/1jxXgeyMk…

HISTORY.
Enjoy it, Geordies! You deserve it! 🥹
ALT Dan Burn and Fabian Schär celebrate at full-time
Watching this all these years later, still as cold and bleak as it was in the 80s! As a kid I seemed fascinated by total nuclear annihilation! As as an adult, utterly terrified!! Should be easy to sleep later 🤣. Cannot switch it off..#Threads

We flew over Hurricane Milton about 90 minutes ago. Here is the view out the Dragon Endeavour window. Expect lots of images from this window as this is where I’m sleeping while we wait to undock and return to Earth.
Timelapse coming in a separate post.

I’m appalled by scenes from Sunderland. Make no mistake, if your response to tragedy is to use it to commit violence, to abuse others, attack the Police and damage property you stand for nothing except thuggery. It’s not protest. It’s crime and disorder. You don’t speak for Sunderland. You don’t speak for this region. Those grieving in Southport will take no comfort from this.

Your order was delivered… to the Moon! 📦
@Int_Machines' uncrewed lunar lander landed at 6:23pm ET (2323 UTC), bringing NASA science to the Moon's surface. These instruments will prepare us for future human exploration of the Moon under #Artemis.
Woo hoo back on The Moon for the USA! Last time was 1972. Go Goonhilly!! Great to hear the UK mentioned from NASA central. What an exciting night. 👽 🚀🚀
