Had a soft spot for Peter Lines since I was mistaken for him at the York Barbican once, but how did he get a spot in the China Open? No tour card and outside the top 50 of the Q School order of merit

Here we go again!
The deadline for you to officially submit your teams is 9am (BST, I'm assuming) on June 10th—next Tuesday. I will then give anyone that wants to join the fun of the Fantasy Five Twitter League till the end of the first event, the Championship League, to send them my way, which is when we'll do our first update 👍 Make sure you screenshot proof of your team or such if you're sending it to me after the official deadline! Feel free to comment them below or otherwise contact me however you wish.
I will message everyone that played last year in due course and also those that have already expressed interest in joining. We had over 100 people last year, which was just tremendous. Please retweet this post if you can so that we can get as many more folk playing as possible 😁

EuroMillions and the Olympics are both taking place in Paris tonight. Can you find the names of 10 medalists hidden in this article? #Paris2024 #Olympics

I get that Olympic football has to start before the opening ceremony so there’s time to fit all the games in. But why the Rugby Sevens? #Paris2024
#bbctennis Another unseeded player to watch has to be Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (GMP) at 6ft 8in. He’s like a 20-year-old, more athletic version of Karlovic or Isner. A very, very dangerous floater who will take some stopping if he keeps serving 51 aces a match
If the Premier League table ranked teams by the collective quality of their hair styles, Liverpool would be battling relegation #PremierLeague
Thanks @NicholasRalph_ and @RachelShenton for the photo. #AllCreaturesGreatAndSmall is a brilliant show with a wonderful cast. Can’t wait for series 3. Why did the farmer go to the cinema? To see the trailers
Great poem and I know you’ve got loads of others
The poem is taken from a free video of the fun and educational workshop I offer to primary schools – please get in touch if you would like the video or an online workshop for your school! #shortandsweetpoems #education #PrimarySchool #POEMS #kidlit

This is my mate’s video. He’s been in hundreds of schools and has now adapted his workshop
If you do not use video conferencing, I have a free 52 minute video of my workshop to use in class. Here is a trailer and if you would like the full video, please email [email protected] and I can send the video and some worksheets to go with it.

Thank you for inviting me into your school, I had a 'mermazing' day too! You all made me feel very welcome, had great imaginations and I loved reading Madge and singing Madge and Alan's songs with you! Good luck with writing your own stories!

Loving #juniorbakeoff. It’s such heart-warming television. Hats off to all the young bakers, the judges and the hilarious Harry Hill
We’ve had Alex ‘Hurricane’ Higgins, Jimmy ‘Whirlwind’ White and Tony ‘Tornado’ Drago. Surely Thailand’s Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, as snooker’s fastest player, should be ‘Typhoon’. #WorldOpen #Snooker
Who’s the last person you would expect to see in the #Strictly audience? Great to see Geoffrey Boycott there #StrictlyComeDancing
