The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball.
They are doing things that have become unusual.
They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for.
They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals.
They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues.
They hit the ball the other way.
They value putting the ball in play.
They adjust their approach based on situation and count.
They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.
They bunt and steal bases.
They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities.
The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.
Nothing infuriates me more when people blame the game or others for their problems. We had plenty of opportunities.
This is the right take. Own it. Learn from it. Get better from it.
After a loss this season with our kids I asked them what they learned and one kid piped up that “the refs made bad calls”. Stopped him right there. Don’t make excuses. Own it. Learn from it. Get better from it.
Onward and upward. #GoCougs
It wasn’t because of a missed tackle. It wasn’t because of a missed call. It wasn’t because of a dropped ball. Not the time-zone change. Not the personal foul. Not the refs. Not the coaching.
Excuses are for losers. The players know it’s on them. They didn’t look the man in the eye, opposite the line of scrimmage, and kick the living shit out of him. Whichever team does that the most always wins. Respect to @UCF_Football
Okay I was wondering this..I saw them do this at the Bees game but didn’t know why they didn’t use their challenge for this.
Didn’t know it was minors only thst was testing this.
The Yandy Diaz strikeout to end Game 2 would not have been close to a swing under the review system they've been testing in the minor leagues

Great use by our gospel doctrine teacher today of ChatGPT to do some research on President Oaks.
Great to see how often his 93 general conference talks how often he talks about Jesus Christ - and that’s 93/93 talks. #LDS #TCOJCOLDS
Can’t complain about not having chances. Poor decisions, poor luck & better play calling by UCF.
No room for error now and I don’t think we are fully in control of our destiny. Have to beat Utah and Cincinnati, hope for Tech and Houston to lose 1 to go to the B12 Championship.
Poppinga called the right play there we make that tackle I believe they don’t convert a TD. Also can’t let this lefty roll left. Make him roll right and across his body. #BYU
UCF is going to go for the win here, or at least they should. If they score a TD, they’re going for 2.

The last sequence of BYU-UCF might be the weirdest ending to a game I’ve ever seen. Like four obscure rules came into play there. Anyway, overtime.
This is why I will never be a ref. I can’t keep all these rules straight. There’s no way I could have called all those things that just happened in the last 10 seconds.
