Plugging in arbitrary offchain data and running expensive compute on chain is still not possible today trustlessly.
For example LLMs, heavy risk engines, custom apis, trading rules even.
With their architecture, Switchboard should be able to make decentralized on-chain cloud/lambda functions possible finally.
@truth_terminal could run potentially on a switchboard cloud function so we can truly have a fully on-chain AI.
Never thought I'd tweet about AI but here we go..
1/ Together with @switchboardFDN we're making a step forward in decentralizing the Switchboard Protocol!
You are now plugged into the future of decentralized data infrastructure 🔌
Remember to breathe well in stressful situations, try be more patient with yourself and others.
Life is precious and each moment brings an opportunity to be grateful for those around you, as we learn from one another.
Happy Chimpers Chuesday ✌

State of Solana: Breakpoint Edition just dropped, and the ecosystem is on 🔥
Get the full scoop with the comprehensive 14 page report, available below👇
Want a TLDR of what you missed? We’ve got you covered with some highlights:
1. The institutions are here: Franklin Templeton, Securitize (BlackRock's BUIDL tokenization partner), and Societe Generale all announced Solana launches coming soon.
2. Solana devs meet users where they are — on mobile: Jupiter, DRiP, and PhotoFinish LIVE announced mobile apps; while Solana Mobile's Seeker (140k+ sold!) and Jambo's JamboPhone 2 are bringing crypto-native mobile devices to market.
3. PayFi is booming: Cross-border payments app Sling integrated with Solana wallets, enabling money transfers across 140+ countries, while Sanctum, Fuse Wallet, Kast, and Reap unveiled Solana stablecoin-powered debit cards.
4. Emerging DePIN sub-sector aims to tackle real-world energy issues: Project Zero is bringing its decentralized renewable energy network to Solana and Powerledger announced its upcoming migration to Solana.
5. Devs are accelerating: $173M was raised by projects primarily built on Solana in Q3'24 alone, the highest since Q2'22, and Colosseum's second hackathon has seen 36% more registrations than its first.

Voyagers,
Thank you for attending ApeFest in Otherside! Curtis shared some of his favorite memories of Meetropolis. The Bitfizz hangover is wearing off, and we’re headed to the Swamp next month.
