Devin Cooley (CGY) and Sergei Bobrovsky (TOR) lead their teams out fo warm-up. Mikael Backlund was right behind Cooley, and he likely returns after missing two games.

#Flames can't convert on PP, then can't quite corral a loose puck in their own zone. It squirts out to hometown boy William Nylander, who fires it past Cooley. 3-2.

The Flames, who looked like they couldn't buy a goal a couple weeks ago, look downright confident with the puck in the Leafs zone right now. Big "Hold on, let's see if I can pull off this play..." energy.

Young people who are watching the broadcast: was Gridin attempting to do The Griddy on skates?
Replying to @RyanNPike
3-0 CGY; Gridin sprung into zone on PP, beats Bobrovsky glove-side. Then he does a little dance.

Met some of the beer league teammates at the Wild Wing at the rink here in Toronto. World Series on. Monday Night Football on. Bar can’t get Leafs-Flames. Six pad arena that has easier access to out-of-market pro football and pro baseball than the local pro hockey team. Tables keep asking for it, bartenders keep scrolling through their huge cable package. No dice. The NHL should view this as a big problem for the sport.
