In the long long ago, there was an animated adventure with Jackie Chan as its protagonist working with totally not the Men in Black to fight supernatural threats from various places on the planet and its first season involved collecting rocks with emblems of the Chinese zodiac that imbued the bearers with various magical abilities to stop a dragon demon statue from rising up to reclaim its empire. The Tiger rock had the ability to separate a person’s soul into two separate entities embodying their Yin and Yang energies respectively. There were also shadow demon ninjas and a sumo wrestler, and three bumbling but racially ambiguous goons.

One thing I love about the Godzilla Minus films is how Kaiju and monsters are normalized in their world taking the semi Pacific Rim approach. So they just don’t waste any time questioning the validity of that shit existing, and immediately jump to making countermeasures for the impossible.
