California’s elections are transparent and secure.
I joined @RepKamlagerDove and my House colleagues for a tour of the LA County Ballot Processing Center.
Our elections happen in broad daylight. Anyone can visit the processing center and observe our election workers in action.

2 problems I noticed when voting in Florida yesterday. Why aren’t republicans concerned?:
1 - They require you to sign your signature with your finger on a tablet. That signature can be used to throw out your vote if it doesn’t match the signature they have on file, which you signed with a pen.
2 - They require you to vote via paper ballot, using a pencil to fill in the bubble next to your choice. You then run your ballot through a machine that counts the votes, but you don’t get to see if the machine read your choices correctly.
Shouldn’t republicans who care about “election security” be concerned with this?

Steve Witkoff has financial interests in russia and he’s in Moscow because Americas foreign policy is now about making as much corrupt cash as possible for the Trump family. That’s why they’re calling Putin a humanitarian.
His missiles are crashing into Kyiv right now by the way

RUSSIA INVADED DONBAS IN 2014, THEN BLAMED UKRAINE FOR THE WAR 🇷🇺🇺🇦
The Kremlin has spent years promoting the narrative that Ukraine was responsible for attacking Donbas, while conveniently ignoring Russia’s own role in starting and sustaining the conflict.
In 2014, Russian fighters and military personnel entered eastern Ukraine, supporting armed separatist forces and helping turn the region into a battlefield.
Accounts of Russian-backed fighters launching rockets at both Ukrainian positions and territory controlled by their own side have also fuelled allegations of deliberate provocations intended to blame civilian casualties on Kyiv. The specific incidents and motives behind those claims require independent verification.
What is established is that Russia intervened militarily in Ukraine in 2014, years before launching its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
The Kremlin’s narrative asks the world to forget that history and accept Moscow’s version of events, in which Russia portrays itself as the protector of a region where its own intervention helped fuel years of war.

The world needs to see what the "humanitarian" in the Kremlin does!

So not only can Ukraine and Ukrainians sue Space X/Musk, so too can shareholders. This is a liability disaster and it’s entirely self-inflicted.
SpaceX Investor @GerberKawasaki tells me he’s not only “disgusted…from a humanity perspective” by restrictions on Starlink in Ukraine, but also: “…they've given everybody a reason not to use Starlink, that Starlink isn't reliable for national security for anybody but Trump.”

This is voter intimidation, plain and simple. Don't let anyone tell you this is about election security. It's about scaring eligible Americans from exercising their right to vote, and it’s not going to work.

Trump: We were in the midst of negotiating and a lot of stupid people said why aren’t you putting Russian sanctions—
Collins: But you said you didn’t give anything for his release
Trump: If I didn’t do that, you wouldn’t have him coming back.
Collins: So you did give something.
Trump: You don’t know anything. You’re fake news CNN.
Collins: You’re saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release?
Trump: You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a low IQ person. You’re a dummy.

Grateful to lead this letter with nearly two-dozen @UkraineCaucus colleagues calling for Ukraine to be allowed to use Starlink to hit launch sites within Russia. Ukraine must be able to defend itself, its people, and the West! The best way is to destroy Russia’s ability to launch its terrorist attacks.

The United States of America is currently frozen because we’re dealing with Donald Trump and Europe is currently frozen because they’re dealing with Europe
This is why I want Trump to survive to the end of his term.
JD has too much youthful vigor to inherit the machine they have built.
JD Vance just held an outrageous news conference in which he defended Ramaswamy's vile attacks on Amy Acton, agreed with Steve Witkoff's assessment of Putin as a "humanitarian," and had the gall to claim "there is no person who hates the idea of people enriching themselves fraudulently over access to the government than Donald J Trump"
