This is hilarious 🤣
I’ve written to @premierleague Chief Executive Richard Masters demanding action on poverty chanting following Everton’s game against Chelsea.
Everton & Liverpool supporters have endured this class prejudice for years. Mocking families who cannot afford to put food on the table is shameful.
Through Fans Supporting Foodbanks, supporters stand together to feed our communities. The Premier League must show the same solidarity & leadership.
Hunger doesn’t wear colours. It’s time our game acted like it.

🚨NEW: A UK bank chief executive, reacting to John Healey's decision to raise the bank's profit surcharge said:

This odious, obese, obtuse weapon is a stain on UK politics.
Israeli Exit Polls show Netanyahu's been defeated.
Israel has rejected his dark vision, forever war & cruel, dystopic, authoritarian policies.
But to succeed, the anti Netanyahu block needs to work with the Israeli Arab parties.
I dearly hope this great chance isn't wasted
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Exit polls did not show Netanyahu has been defeated. Major Israeli television networks projected a deadlock, with neither Netanyahu's bloc nor the opposition securing the 61 seats needed for a majority. asia.nikkei.com/politics/israe… reuters.com/world/middle-e…
One has to wonder if @labourlewis shouted 'get on your knees b*tch' to @larabirdsnp when they were being detained.
2 years in to a @UKLabour government (well, a second one), and I'm being warned to buy a generator, tinned food, to stock up on cash and water.
I can't say I'm surprised.

Anyone who has been around Brixton station of late will be aware that the area is covered in litter. Bins are overflowing, there is a severe homelessness issue and it's crackhead/anti-social behaviour galore. So, shall we check in on what Lambeth Council will be spending time discussing at its meeting this evening?
Well! Tonight Lambeth Council, led by a Green-Lib Dem coalition is due to discuss Motion 3 (Green Group): Palestine – End the Genocide, Complicity and Impunity. "This motion condemns Israel's actions in Gaza, calls for an immediate ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and the release of hostages. It also calls on the UK Government to halt arms exports, impose economic sanctions, and provide evidence to the International Criminal Court. It further proposes that the Council review its contracts and investments to divest from companies complicit in violations of international law."
Note they haven't even been bothered to update the language still referencing hostages...
This is Lambeth Council's priority while some of the worst crime and antisocial behaviour in London is happening as we speak within its boundaries.

Hi @andyburnham you gonna release evidence for this dastardly Russian interference pal? Or is it buried under all your Man City documents you haven’t got round to reading?
Andy Burnham becomes first PM to confirm Russian interference in Brexit referendum
@campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK's exclusive interview with @andyburnham on tomorrow's episode of Leading is out in full at midnight.
Which one wins in Holborn & St Pancras?
The Islamic terrorist-supporting anti-Semite or the other Islamic terrorist-supporting anti-Semite?
Odds on desperate @dave43law showing humility about Farage this morning?
Zero.
Odd on him moaning about Farage and Reform?
Guaranteed.

And when, in a few months and years, nothing has changed at all, except the cost of living and taxes have gone up even more, the welfare bill has ballooned, the Channel migrants are still coming and still here, and there is no change to social care, while the threats from Russia and Iran escalate and we face energy rationing, I'm sure that Andy Burnham's fine rhetoric will be very useful on the cold winter nights. Don't say you weren't warned.
Seal of approval by Goodall?
Communist crap, and completely unaffordable.
He doesn’t have all the means to bring it about, but so far this speech is the most comprehensive case for social and economic democracy we’ve heard from a Labour PM in the last 40 years. It’s significant because Burnham is the first Labour PM to entirely and avowedly say he wants to break with the Thatcher settlement.

The UK government may not want to crime release data broken down by ethnicity. I have been scraping daily court data to get first and surnames of all people who appeared in court in the country.

A Restore Britain Government will deport any ‘refugee’ who arrives through Labour’s new scheme to legally import yet more Afghans and Palestinians. It will apply retrospectively.
Enough.
