And now... the PAVING OF FRANKLIN ROAD is in full swing (see pics)!

Spent the afternoon meeting supporters and neighbors in Brookhaven today, a diverse neighborhood on the west side of Lawrence - and the home of MSDLT's Brook Park Elementary, where our daughter Anne went. (She's a 4th grade teacher now!)

Yesterday I learned the membership of Lawrence FOP #159 has voted (overwhelmingly) to endorse me for Mayor!!!
This was a very serious and thoughtful process involving a lengthy written questionnaire and an hour-long in-person interview. Critical public safety issues were discussed, and my lifelong history of support for law enforcement was analyzed.
