Thank you to @UTampaBaseball for hosting the #TEES today in ☀️ #ChampaBay - Always great to compete and get work in with the Spartans! @SCFManatees
The #TEES are highlighting former players to give the current team a deeper understanding of the MANATEE #tradition & yesterday's highlighted player, Owen Ayers, actually came by to visit. Ayers is the @cubs #2 prospect & one of the top catching prospects in @MLB. @SCFManatees

One of baseball’s best base hit bunters Garrett Hampson.
1) Simple early turn.
2) Great bat angle out in front with barrel pointed to 1B coach.
3) Elbows point DOWN.
4) Sees the ball down off the bat before running.

The Brewers and Rays have a magic formula.
Basic fundamentals and unselfish players.
The majority of other organizations would rather lose trying to outsmart the competition with space station lunacy and scientific jargon.

No substitute for running your”best speed.” Force the defense to play “fast catch.”
